If you need a car and need someone to trust...
Stu is your man. I went through a crazy week trying to find a good deal on Subaru Outback. After some truly horrible experiences at Chuck Olsen Chevrolet, I found Auto Connections. Stu gave me his cell number, and made it easy for me to trust him and let me know exactly what his situation was. There was no checking with a sales manager crap. Stu is a car broker, which... view more means that he is a middle man between a dealership and people that hate dealerships. You might think this sounds expensive and lavish, but it is not. Stu is still cheaper than most car dealerships can even offer. I will never buy a car anywhere else, he even has customers in other areas of the state. Where else can you buy a car where they have thank you letters plastered all over their office?

My wife and I live in Missoula, MT and
My wife and I live in Missoula, MT and drove to Seattle, WA to pick up a 2006 Volvo S60R - sight unseen. When I arrived in Seattle, I was blown away to find a carpeted showroom with used cars! It seemed to be a top-notch place. Their cars usually have low miles and are in exceptional condition. The dealer had the car I was to buy pulled around front, and I took the car for a test drive. The car was spotless and in gr... view moreeat condition. This used dealer offers six-month powertrain warranty on their cars. This tells me that they trust they are giving the customer a car they can rely upon. Any vehicle is going to have their fair share of problems. As a part-time mechanic, even I know diagnostics can only tell you about the vehicle`s operation at the moment. Auto Connections East makes sure their cars are in good operating condition, prints a CARFAX report and hopes the customer will receive something they can enjoy. I appreciate the sales team. They are low to perhaps NO pressure when buying. I made them an offer on the car, and Stu (salesperson) was willing to give me no-hassle pricing. The sales process was a breeze. I know good people when I see them. This is a professional business offering top-notch service. Even after the sale they are willing to accomodate me if I have questions. I couldn`t ask for better people in the car sales business and couldn`t ask for cleaner products in the used car sale business. My wife and I will keep this place in mind!

Looking for a ""first"" car for my
Looking for a ""first"" car for my daughter, I scoured the craigslist ads and found way too many ""rebuilt title"", ""selling for a dead relative"", ""lost the title"", or ""it was just a minor accident"" stories for my taste. I was referred by a friend to Auto Connections in Bellevue, called them up, told them what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend, and after a few weeks and a few test drives, they f... view moreound exactly what I was looking for (or should I say what my daughter was looking for!). I have to say that Stu, the owner, made the process relatively painless and I was treat very fairly and with integrity. I was allowed to have the vehicle inspected by my own mechanic and ever though it had a few minor issues, which Stu was more than willing to fix, I have to say I am completely satisfied with my purchase and the overall experience. I do have to admit that I was a bit hesitant after reading a few of the Yelp reviews, but I recommend looking at the ""filtered"" reviews (a bit of a pain to get to but worth it) and you`ll get a much different sense about these guys. Don`t know why Yelp filters all the good reviews - seems kind of dumb? Thanks again Auto Connections of Bellevue, and if you see a red-headed 17 year old girl running around town in her shinny new red Beetle, give her a wave!

WOW! Just bought my new (used) car
WOW! Just bought my new (used) car from Auto Connections in Bellevue and I have to say that the experience, from beginning to end, was just delightful. Of course I absolutely hate shopping for a car....you know the routine: pressure, lies, deception, all the rest. I`ve been looking for the perfect Honda for a month or so, ever since a drunk driver ruined my perfectly good Accord, and I`ve been really stressing ove... view morer the process. Having to shop on line and visit dealers is a real pain and something I`m just not that comfortable with. But going to Bellevue Auto Connections was the best thing that could happen to me. I found just the right Accord on line, then called and talked with Stu, who said he`s the owner, and to my surprise he answered every question I had and didn`t put any pressure on me at all to come in. He just said to call when I was ready for a test drive and he would make sure the car was available for me when I got there. I made arrangements for a test drive and after seeing the car and all the other beautiful cars they have for sale, I was convinced I was in the right place. Of course I bought the car, got a very fair price and I`m now planning a nice road trip this summer to celebrate my new ride!! Thanks very much to Stu and Auto Connections for the great car, great price and great service. Look forward to sending all my friends and family your way.

AVOID at all costs!
This is the type of car dealership that give others a bad name. I spoke to an older gal named Rondi over the phone as I didn`t want to drive all the way from West Seattle to NE Bellevue if the car wasn`t as advertised. She assured me it was a clean car, one owner, very well maintained and had recent timing belt and water pump installed. When I pull up I noticed a very similar car to the one listed but with one huge g... view morelaring exception... it was missing the spoiler that was in the pictures. After meeting Rondi and a short but odd discussion about whether or not I would sell it if I bought it from her she told me I should go look at it and that it`s on the side of the building. I said that isn`t the car that was in the photos, and she said absolutely it was. I brought up the fact the car she was talking about is missing the spoiler at which point she conceded she used pictures of a different car because it was so similar to this one. I then asked about the miles and pointed out there was a slight discrepancy regarding the miles advertised. In the written description it said 98k miles and another place 155k miles. She assured me no where did it say 98k miles that the car has 155k (at time of posting the ad still reads as above with same pictures). Not sure why I didn`t just leave then but she went and pulled up the car and I went out to look at it. Popped the hood and the engine bay definitely had 155k miles of dirt and grime on it and no signs of recent maintenance as she said. I made my way around the vehicle and lifted the back hatch and poked my head inside and after a moment I felt something dripping on my leg. I looked up and the inside of the hatch was draining water on me... not a drip, but water was running out from the inside! I stood with amazement and asked Rondi to come over for a moment, (she busy lying to other people now) and when she did I pointed out the water that had now slowed to a drip and she said wow, and that she was going to have to have that looked at. I shut the hatch and discovered this cream puff one owner car that was so well maintained had a back hatch that wouldn`t latch/lock when shut. She told me to take it for a drive that they were getting really busy now and went back to the other customers. I left the vehicle where it sat and drove away... FAST! and you should too!

Steer clear of Auto Connections!
Bought a car from Auto Connections in Bellevue in Aug 2010. Only 2 weeks after owning the car (3rd time taking it out of the driveway), the transmission went out. After a lot of back and forth with Auto Connections, they refused to resolve the issue. So, trying to make the best out of a horrible situation, we had a friendly local repair shop install another transmission. Now, only one year after purchasing the car a... view morend getting another transmission installed, it has broken down again and will cost at least another $1500 to repair. Long story short, my originally $3500 used car has now ended up to be at least $7500 and has lasted one year. I would not recommend Auto Connections to anyone.
Terrible service with a general lack of interest in customer support and satisfaction. If you`re looking for an honest used car dealership, steer clear of Auto Connections.

Auto Connections East is the real deal!
I`d been searching for a quality used car for a number of weeks and finally came upon what looked to be a great car at a great price offered for sale by Auto Connections in Bellevue. When I arrived, naturally with my defenses up, I was pleasantly surprised at, not only the courteous and respectful manner with which I was greeted, but also at how clean and professional looking the dealership was. That`s a big deal to ... view moreme! I asked to see the car I was interested in, was given lot`s of space and time to view the car, and didn?ˆ™t feel even the slightest bit of pressure from anyone trying to ""sell"" me anything. All of my questions were answered, I loved how I was able to take the car for a test drive by myself, and I was able to have the car independently inspected without a problem. When I returned from the inspection I sat down with Stu (he?ˆ™s the owner) and after no more than 10 minutes of easy, light negotiations, I purchased the car of my dreams at a very fair price. As a follow-up, a couple of days after I bought the car the check engine light came on. I called Stu and he told me to bring the car in, which I did. He had the car repaired (it was something emissions related?) not only at no cost to me, but he gave me a loaner car to drive for the day!! It`s been a little over a month since I bought the car and I absolutely love it! Auto Connections was very fair and professional and I felt as though I was treated with integrity throughout the entire process. I will definitely refer them to anyone I know who?ˆ™s even remotely considering buying a car.

Auto Connections East is not reputable
At the appointment to test drive a car, I was informed by a salesperson, Kurt, that the car required additional repairs despite a buyer`s pre-inspection.
On the test-drive, there was a distinct vibration and groaning noise from idle to highway speed. I informed Kurt that the problem with the car was obvious which made me question the soundness of his pre-inspection. Kurt made a number of excuses to explain th... view moree oversight, including that it was one of his detail guys that noticed it.
Despite completion of the repairs, I wanted an dependent inspection. When I told Kurt this, he insisted that I call the shop that did the repair and pre-inspection. Jeff, the mechanic, contradicted Kurt`s story - the problem was known at the pre-inspection and the parts were on order. Despite Kurt`s claims, Jeff insisted that they knew about it (though it wasn`t listed as one of the repairs on the pre-inspection report). I called back Kurt and relayed Jeff`s account. Kurt apologized to me for Jeff ""confusing"" the issue. After some discussion, Kurt agreed to an independent inspection, but wanted to talk numbers before we embarked any further.
To make a long story short, we agreed to a price; since Kurt was 90% sure that nothing needed to be done with the car, he was willing to pay up to $400 in repairs. This was after Kurt`s attempt to get me to agree to raising the price of the car if anything was found that he would repair. After finding out that the car needed $350 in repairs, Kurt back-pedaled again. First he wanted to get it done with his mechanic. Then Kurt changed his mind again, disagreeing with the required repairs determined by the Ford dealer`s inspection.
During this entire process, I took careful notes during my phone conversations with Kurt to make sure that there was no miscommunication. I have a witness to the initial test-drive and falsehoods. I was true to my word, Auto Connections East was not.
