Very Untrustworthy

I had another Car-X replace my whole exhaust system a few years ago, and had to repeatedly go back and have repairs done over the year the thing was under warranty (mostly because a bolt kept coming loose leading the the car becoming loud again and again). So when the warranty ran out, I went to this one hoping for a better result. However, much to my shock, they told me the loudness was because the engine exhaust ... view morepipe (which is made of steel) had broken and it needed to be replaced, which with parts and service would cost almost $400. I was furious because my warranty had just run out the month before (the engine pipe was only a little over a year old), and I stomped off to get it replaced elsewhere. When I took it into Kern`s Muffler Shop on 20th and Hampton, they told me my engine pipe was fine, and it was the flex pipe was what was busted, which with parts and service would only cost about $100. They took me out to the car to look at it, and even I, knowing next to nothing about cars could clearly see that the engine pipe was fine (in fact it still looked brand new), and the flex pipe was broken in half. Anyway, I wrote a complaint to the BBB but never heard anything from this Car-X (which in all fairness to Car-Xs, this one is owned independently and only licenses the name from the chain), and I would never go there again under any circumstances.
