Reviews:
I recently had my car painted at the Maaco on North Hampton Blvd. I spent over a $1000. for a paint job that as Peter ( the manager) said would make my car look brand new. If you are into moon gazing and you particularly like the craters on the moon, you will love a Maaco paint job, for it easily replicates the surface of the moon. If you like getting sprinkles on your doughnuts or your ice cream cone, you will lov... view moree the Maaco paint job because it to comes with sprinkles mixed right in the paint. If you are worried that you might have a vitamin C deficiency, you`ll never have to worry again because the Maaco paint job has so much orange peal in it. You WILL have to worry about them breaking parts on your car, such as door handles, because they will deny having any responsibility. But they make up for it by painting your rubber weather striping to match your car.? So if you have a $1000 to waste, this is the place for you? If you don`t, get a can of paint and a paint brush and some sprinkles and you can easily produce your own Maaco paint job.

I cant believe i was told one ...
I cant believe i was told one thing and peter the mgmt does another! ridiculous! i left my car under the impression that that it would be fixed correctly, so my bumper was pulled off after backing out of a garage and i asked peter to fix it! He said no problem, and when i came to get it he said it looks good right ? from a far, decent... but upclose, not even the way i expected... the rubber seal on my bumper which i... view mores supposed to be hidden was still showing after i picked it up...he was supposed to re-tuck my bumper and them put it in flush. i had asked him to get it closely aligned to stock and he said i never mentioned to repair it that way...basically calling me a liar. I dont understand how fixing a bumper should mean to get it closest to stock settings. i asked what he did, he said i had my body guy put a screw in a pop the light in ... and all this was worth $100! The first quote was 120 and honestly this was NOT worth $100.00. He said it took them 2 1/2 hours to fix, really?? to put in a screw and pop a bumper in? i think in thaty amount of time you should have done it correctly instead of trying to rip off a customer! The bumper is not even aligned at all!
Peter is a jerk. worst customer service that Ive had from any body shop! Get off my property he says, your trespassing. HE KNEW HE WAS IN THE WRONG. Wow!
Great customer service peter! Ill be glad to spread great reviews about your appalling service!
As i was leaving, another customer was complaining about his paint not matching!
From one business man to another, you should retire and work where no customer service is required. What a rude individual.
please..I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BODY SHOPPE!
Choose another body shoppe and not diamonds springs or any other maaco!

This Macco shop has been a nig...
This Macco shop has been a nightmare! We took our car there to get it painted, it came back full of bubbles and dirt in the paint, they had painted things they shouldn t have painted and they damaged the light covers and chrome on the car. Took the car back to try and get some of it cleaned up and fixed and got the car back again with more damages done to it. In all we will be spending about the same to fix it as wha... view moret we paid to have it painted. The overall customer service was also horrid, they with held important information, they failed to tell us all our options and even questions they did answer they only gave us half an answer too, along with the fact we had to call them for updates even though they had said they would call us. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!

This place has been a nightmare!
Everything that happened to nfl3125 we too went threw. My Husband and I took out 2003 Honda Civic in to get a new paint job done because the original had started to wear thin and flake. Sean was also the person we first dealt with and was told the same thing right down to he was giving us a discount. We were never told that there are levels of sanding that can be done, we weren`t told about a sealer that we can have ... view moreput on the car to keep old problems from bleeding thew and into the new paint job, we weren`t told that the jams would not be done, and when asked if with the warranty the car could be taken to any Maaco they said yes. (never mentioning that there is a 50 mile clause in there) We didn`t find any of this out until after the paint job was done. We picked up the car and it was also covered in dust, there was a bunch of over spray on the lights, they pained over the key holes on the doors. When they did sand or buff the car they went over the head lights, tail lights, and chrome on the front of the car. It had bubbles galore all over it. We then talked to the owner that location and he said oh no worries bring it back in 3-4 weeks and we will de nib it and she will look great. We went ok, we had never had a car painted before so we just went with it. We took it back after 4 weeks of letting the paint cure and when we got it back again it was covered in dust even though they cleaned it. I had to ask for a cloth to wipe it down because I already had a bad feeling about it, the feeling was right, there was still a lot of pitting, there was damage done to a sprayer nozzle, there was a new gouge in the back bumper and more. I was pissed! I snapped after seeing all the damages done in total to the car and after dealing with Sean again and him saying on there wasn`t anything else that can be done and that they didn`t do anything I asked for the owner who I snapped on since he was the one who promised that everything would be great when it was all done. While pointing to the car asked the owner what the F**** is this, he stormed off saying how he doesn`t need to be attacked. What a joke that guy is. Now granted I shouldn`t have used foul language but in that moment seeing dollar signs flying out the door and thinking we paint 1k for this I really did lose it and said the first thing that came into my head. Last I knew asking a question even with a swear word in it wasn`t attacking a person. Just to get the car somewhat fixed back up is going to be almost 400 dollars and that is to touch up the pain job they screwed up along with the nozzle they broke. That doesn`t include the cost to get the chrome fixed or replaced or the head lights or tail lights. In all we will probably end up spending close to fix the car as what we were charged to paint it. Oh and don`t bother with their corporate office, those guys are a joke as well all they say is there isn`t anything they can do because each Maaco is privately owned! Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this one as you can!

MAACO POOR JOB...POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I took my vehicle to Maaco Auto Painting at 1321 Diamond Springs Road, Virginia Beach Virginia early this fall. The sales person, by the name of Sean, promised me quality body work and a factory finish paint job. I paid the full price of $700 for one of the best paint jobs offered by Maaco (Sean claimed to have given me a discount). They had my car ready for me a week later. When I picked it up it actually looked pre... view moretty good, but I notice a thin layer of dust that covered my car and a couple of cars parked next to it. I found this unusual because when I picked up cars in the past from recently having body and paint work done on them
