Have Kept Me Happy for Many Years

I`ve been going to this Merchants for a couple decades, since I live around the corner. During that time, they`ve gone through various management & staff, but the service has stayed fairly consistent, and not bad. I usually have reason to take my cars there at least a few times a year, typically for oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, state inspections, and occasionally brakes, fluid changes, or some type of ... view morediagnosis and repair. They aren`t the cheapest shop in town, but they are not the most expensive either. I mainly go there because they are convenient to my home, can usually get my car back to me quickly, and charge what I consider a reasonable price. I just wish they had WiFi. It`s surprising they don`t, in this day & age. I have to walk down the street to a restaurant to get internet service while my car is being worked on.

Great Service! Fair Prices!

We continue to bring our cars here for multiple reasons: fair prices and great service. Most of all, we really appreciate their honesty. Several years ago, the "Service Engine" light came on. Merchant Tire looked at the car and suggested I bring to the dealer (charging us nothing for the recommendation). The dealer couldn`t figure out the probelm, but charged us +$450 for their time. I took back to Merc... view morehant Tire. Although they couldn`t guarantee the results, one of the mechanics suggested it might be bad gas and suggested turning the cap a few times. I wrote the GM headquarters, who said that pressure sometimes builds up in the engine, especially due to ethanol. Viola! Now, I only fill up with a specific brand. No more problems.

These guys have cut me breaks on the cost of repairs, they`ve fixed a tire at no cost for my wife, always call me when about to do any work on the car, and several things I just can`t remember now. Customer service is great. I continually go back. No sense in changing mechanics.
