Growing up in Hampton Roads in the 1980`s, I found truck shops to be few and far between. Some shops were run out of garages and didn`t know much about lifting or accessorizing trucks. This shop, formerly Eastern off road, was one of the few locations that actually had its own building. Even so, after owning many trucks for several years, there was not a shop that was exciting to visit or where someone could see the latest and greatest products available. After 17 years as a Journeyman Electrician, I had the opportunity to purchase Eastern in early 2002. We celebrate this monumental event each year in spring with an Open House Party. After owning Eastern for only a few months, I realized that no shop in town had ever given real customer service. ETA has one of the best shops ...

ETA has one of the best shops in the area. However, the cost for parts or work performed there can be outrageous. You can often times expect to pay 50% more for work there vs. other shops. If cost is no barrier use them. I cant complain about the work at all. However, I dont feel the pricing is always fair even if you do get quality work. It`s kind of like paying $200 for the best hammer there is. It`s still a $200... view more hammer.

STAY AWAY!

Was told my truck needed ball joints and a wheel bearing to get the alignment right. MY TRUCK ONLY HAS 12,000 miles on it!! I declined the work and was still charged $90 for an alignment that apparently wasn`t right. Their tire price that I paid was outrageous. I got my truck aligned at another shop just fine. High priced rip off.

Great shop

The customer who gave ETA a poor review must be a competitive shop or somebody who doesn`t know what they are talking about. I have been using this shop for over 7 years and referred numerous people there as well. If you want the work performed correctly, on time and on budget go check this place out. If you want cheap, go to the other guys.

Great Shop!!! Better than all the rest!

I`ve had several vehicles modified at Eastern over the years and have visited all of the other local shops and keep going back to Eastern every time. They are classy, clean, well organized, and have the best mechanics. There is just not another shop in the area in the same league. You can tell by just walking into the show room. They really stand by the products they sell and do first rate work. They may not be the c... view moreheapest but you get what you pay for, and when it comes to your vehicle and mods such as suspension components, you want the best and you want it installed correctly. My family`s life depends on it. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If you don`t know what you want, they have a good eye for what looks good and what performs better.
