DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!! They lie about recommended maintenance schedules!! I was there several weeks ago to have oil changed in my Subura. At the time, they said that according to Subaru?ˆ™s maintenance schedule, it was recommended that I have ALL my fluids changed at 75K miles which I was currently at. I said I would come back another time. After calling Subaru for a price comparison, they said that they had ... view morealready performed this at 60K miles. I hadn?ˆ™t checked my records as I TRUSTED Oil N?ˆ™ Go?ˆ™s word that everything was due at 75K miles. All information online and in my manual said that EVERYTHING that Oil n Go said was due at 75K miles was actually due at 60K miles. When I confront them in person they claimed that since they did not know what I had done in the past and that they recommended it in case it hadn?ˆ™t been done!! They, at no time, said that this work was actually due at 60K and that I should check my records to make sure it was done and come back for the service. They specifically said it was due at 75K and when confronted didn?ˆ™t deny that they had said this. Of course they want to do the work at the same time you have your oil changed, before you can even check your records. The owner did not understand why I was upset?ˆ¦?ˆ¦.Perhaps it?ˆ™s because It could have cost me well over $400 to have this ?ˆ?recommended?ˆ? work done at the time and I personally have a hard time with businesses that out and out lie. I personally believe that they rely on people NOT to keep records or check their manuals BEFORE they have work done. My advise it to AVOID this business and stick to your dealer or trusted mechanic.

Awesome service. Fast, reliable... and Local! I`ve been going to Oil n Go since I moved back to Vermont (8 years) and they`ve never let me down. I met the owner a few years ago (he was working the counter) and he`s very friendly. Good stuff all around.

I`ve had two cars serviced by Oil N` Go over about 10 years. I love the service. Rob, the manager, knows me on sight, and they know the cars. I have them do all the service they can and then go to the dealer for what they can`t do. I also buy tires from them. The turnover among the mechanics is low, most of the senior guys have been there for years. They have the mechanic who changed the oil explain to you in person... view more what they did - I really like that. And, sure, he`ll run through the standard spiel when they change the oil and may recommend other servicing, but I`ve never felt any pressure. They offer coupons and are price-competitive on tires and parts. They`ve really hustled at times to work with my schedule and I appreciate that.
Too bad the other reviewer had a difficult time. I recommend the place to friends routinely. And although I recently moved, I take the time to go to them for any servicing my car needs.

The folks here are the most rude a** holes that I`ve ever encountered. They completely screwed up the oil change on my truck by failing to actually screw in the filter all the way!! The next morning I had 2 quarts of oil to clean up off my basement floor. These jerks wouldn`t offer any type of refund.

Incompetent, rude and over priced - avoid this place!!
In my one and only experience with Oil and Go, I found them to be incompetent, rude and over priced. They bring customer service to a new low.
The bottom line is that Vermont has plenty of trustworthy mechanics, so please heed my advice and do not even consider doing business with Oil and Go.
Here is my story:
I went to Oil and Go to get a basic oil change. I found them extremely pushy in their efforts t... view moreo ""up-sell"" you to their various premium services.
A while after the oil change, my car`s red oil light came on. Took it to another mechanic and he finds that the oil filter was not installed adequately and it had leaked 4 quarts of oil.
Oil and Go was not willing to refund any part of the original cost of the oil change, nor would they consider paying part of the cost of having the issue fixed by another mechanic.
Rob Remillard, manager of Oil and Go, deserves a special mention for his anger and aggressiveness towards customers. He is rude, insulting and completely unable to have a rational conversation. The mere suggestion of splitting a $40 repair bill sent him over the top.
His reaction only seemed to confirm that he gets a lot of requests for refunds due to inadequate service, as he showed no interest in learning about the nature of the problem at hand or finding a reasonable resolution.
It`s not clear why a guy who has such a desperate need for anger management therapy is in any position of responsibility. I have the utmost sympathy for anyone who has to deal with his antics.

Great Service!
Fast, friendly, and REALLY knowledgeable! The techs pointed out all sorts of things I should think about, but they didn`t pressure me to get any work done. I feel like I can trust them and have been going there for years.
They even vacuumed out my car and washed my windows! Everyone should go to Oil n` Go!
