Rip offs!

I was selling my car. A potential buyer asked me if he could run it by a mechanic to have it checked out. I was fine with his request, especially since I had already had the inspection done and had it gone over by my mechanic. The guy came back and said that he had taken it to Mercer. They told him that the CV joints were bad and wanted nearly a thousand bucks to fix it. There was absolutely no indication whatsoever ... view morethat the CV`s were bad, no noise when turning or anything. The only way they could have checked the CV`s without hearing them would have been to take the thing apart. The guy was only gone for 30 minutes, not nearly enough time. They were just coming up with trumped up repairs to swindle their customers.

Best auto service in Park City

My experience with Mercer has been exceptional. Here in Park City you need a ski doctor, a ski boot doctor, a bike doctor and car doctor, these are the people that you trust with the equipment that you have to have performing at a top level. Mercer has been my car doc since I moved to town. They have kept my old Chevy truck rolling in fine style. perfection!!!

I was broke down in hwy 40, no clue about a shop park city. call towing company they suggest MERCER my first impresion was who??? but having no to many choises i accept. we start to drive to old town in pc. i think $$$$$$ money money bye bye. good people,nice guys in front desk AAA aprove mechanics fix my car in no time for less than $ 100.00 i can`t belive my good luck. thanks guys.thanks mercer.

Rob the Poor, steal from the old, and lie.

If you want to pay a lot in diagnostics just to find out from Autozone that the problem you are having was a $2.39 PCV valve and a new air filter then this is the place to go. They will take your car for days just to charge you with diagnostics and suggest the problem is serious and you will need further Diagnostics. If I can google search the symptoms and figure it out myself (a girl) and then take my car to Autoz... view moreone for the parts and get great service there why ever get ripped off at Mercer. They charged me for a diagnostic and repair of something I had recently already had done and claimed that I needed several hours of diagnostics in order to narrow down the problem of no power. Come to find out I just needed a tune up. Best of luck in finding an honest car repair. Mercer is not the right one.

Auto repair while out of town

I was so pleased with the service, honesty, price, and assurances given to me by Mercer Auto, that I would change mechanics in a NY minute, if I didn`t live in Las Vegas, NV. Unfortunately the distance is just too great.
