Looking to Get Ripped Off???
The will charge 70% more then other garages. They will make you fix problems that don`t exist. They will take every dime you have and not give back one sent until your pockets are empty.
I took my car in for diagnostics due to the Check Engine light coming on. They charged $97 for the diagnostics. They said "It`s looking like you need a new fuel pump and a fuel system clean". Well they had already swindle... view mored me into a fuel system clean a couple months ago. All the parts and labor would cost over $600 and about $1,000 with the fuel system clean. I wanted to get a different opinion so I took it to Summit Service & Repair. They fixed the problem and replaced the Oxygen Sensor for a whopping total of $219 and the Diagnostics check was only $25. By the way those things take 10 minutes and are as simple as plugging an external hard drive into your laptop.

A bunch o morons
- Stopped by on Wednesday and spoke to BRIAN...He quoted me $760 bucks for some continental tires, but had to order them and the y would be there Thursday at around 1pm.
- I didn`t get a call by 2pm on Thursday so I decided to call them. I called them up and was told that there was a mistake and they got the wrong tires delivered and if I want them to send a courier to get them. I told them that they don`t have to d... view moreo that for me! I was told that the tires will be there guaranteed on Friday at around 1pm.
- I got a call on Friday at around 1:30pm telling me that my tires are there. After talking to Terry for a bit, it turned out that those were not the tires I ordered! He assured me that he would look into that and would give me a call back shortly. He never called so I ended up calling them again. I got Terry on the phone again and he guaranteed me that the tires would be there later today!
- I finally got a call at around 4pm telling me to come down there and have my tires installed. I got there 5min later, spoke to someone at the front desk and was told that they are sorry and gonna make sure it getting done fast! Ten minutes later Terry came over, introduced himself and told me that they checked the alignment and the TOTAL IS GONNA BE $1140!!! I knew something wasn`t right when he told me that they already had checked the alignment and that it was ok?! The tires are worn out badly on the inside BECAUSE the alignment is off!! However, I told him right away that this is not what BRIAN told me!!! He called BRIAN, spoke to him, telling me that Brian doesn`t remember!!! He offered me some cheap as Tires instead and I said NO! I told him to take the new tires off because I was not willing to pay that much more from what I was quoted! It turned out that they never put the tires on!!! Why would someone not start the work, telling you that they did though, unless they are expecting you to not pay?! And why would someone not pay, other than knowing that they got ripped off?!?!
Long story short: The place is TRYING TO RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shoddy work
I had my brakes inspected after observing a roughness when the brakes were applied. My tires were due for their next rotation and service and I requested the inspection as a part of this regular maintenance. I was told everything was fine. When I asked what had been the problem with the brakes, I was told the jerky response of the brake peddle was ""just, dust on the brake pads."" I didn`t buy that and had them inspe... view morected at another auto repair shop in Salt Lake City that same day. The mechanic showed me the the brake drum with a large chunk of metal missing. It was replaced and I brought the defective drum back to Burt Brothers. The manager told me that it would not have been a safety issue anyway. No apology. No I will check to see who did the shoddy work. I was given the distinctive feeling that I was bothering him. I have not and will not go back. That was not the first time that I was treated poorly.

Beware! Scare tactics used.
I bought my tires here 5000 miles ago. All good. Then I brought the vehicle in for the standard spin, balance and rotation as recommended at 5000 miles. The guys at the desk had always been nice and respectful on previous visits. On this visit they neglected to tell me my vehicle was done so after an hour I went up and asked when it would be done and the manager of the shop scowled at me and all but hurled my keys at... view more me, without any word of the condition of the tires, my vehicle or anything. So I left and when on my way thinking that maybe I`ll buy my tires somewhere else next time.
After this maintenance that Burt Brothers at Jeremy Ranch did, the truck began shaking between 62 and 72 mph and it didn`t behave that way before they touched it. So I brought it back for refinement. After re-balancing the front tires, they told me that I need a new tierod, front struts and an alignment. They would only charge me $1300 for that work. Oh, and the truck wouldn`t pass inspection either because of the tierod and my tires were severely cupped. Clearly they weren`t aware that I`d had the struts replaced at the 60000 mile tuneup at the dealer. They were trying to sell me $850 of something I`d replaced 28000 miles ago. Also, they didn`t know that I had just had the 90000 mile maintenance done on by the dealer and they had gone over it with a fine tooth comb. Just in case, I took the truck back to the dealer just in case they missed something. The tierods are fine. So are the relatively new struts. I called Burt Brothers to let them know that those things were fine and I was a bit concerned that they were trying to sell me stuff I didn`t need. They said ""Oh those were just suggestions"". They didn`t present them as suggestions at the time. Using scare tactics, they told me that the tie rod break soon and not only that, but it wouldn`t pass inspection. Safety and regulation issues. Of course I would get that fixed if it was in fact a problem.
Moral of the story: Buy your tires here if you have to, but don`t let them scare you into maintenance. They don`t know what they`re talking about. Discount tire is better. Or better yet, buy at Tirerack and have your local shop or dealer mount them for you. These guys are bad. If I could give them negative stars I would...using scare tactics to sell stuff is unforgivable.
