I used Abra for a recent car repair because I have insurance with Geico. I have to say, I have never been treated better by a firm. They quickly picked up my car from another repair shop that wasn`t part of Geico`s network, called to introduce themselves and give me a contact person, and that contact person (Matt) did a flawless job keeping me totally informed as to the progress that was being made. I can`t speak to some of the other reviews, but I will just say that for me, they handled my car and performed perfectly.

Abra Auto Body - A Dishonest Company Ruined my car!

This is seriously the worst body shop in the world. STEER CLEAR OF ABRA if you value your car even a little bit. I took my car to this deceitful body shop for misc. body damage and was lied to about virtually everything, and received my car back with serious electrical problems in the area they had worked on which they refused to fix (that it did not have prior to coming into Abra). They had had me come in to pick it... view more up 3 times, only for me to come in and it was not properly / adequately fixed. Initially they had tried to fix a headlight with a used headlight that was on its last leg and was completely discolored. In the end, they did significant damage to my vehicle and even put scratches on areas which were supposedly just painted, and lied about keeping the vehicle in-doors. They lied about taking the car to a dealership to have a part fixed, and complained about the cost they had incurred doing so?ˆ¦upon speaking with the dealership however, I discovered the whole story was a fabrication and they had completely lied about taking the car to fix the additional part they broke. The customer service was absolutely horrid, and even management stepped in to lie and say a conversation that took place in front of witnesses never happened. Never have I been looked in the face and lied to so grossly by a business. Never before has a business changed their story so many times. I am losing thousands of dollars and was without my car for months. Only use Abra if every other body shop in the state is booked solid and you have a car you could care less about. This company gets an F- in customer service, and my vehicle is in worse shape after they worked on it than when I brought it in. Consider yourself warned. It is very scary when businesses are dishonest as this one and I feel everybody should know about this bottom of the barrel business. IT HAS NOW BEEN A YEAR I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT MY CAR THANKS TO ABRA. According to a third party specialized repair shop, ABRA completely ?ˆ?Hacked the repair job?ˆ? and had no business working on my car.

BEWARE

This business did not honor their commitments. They were on the approved list for our insurance company. However, they failed to correct all the damages - specifically, the mechanical concerns. The receptionist is great - that is the reason for the 1 star. Stay away from here.

It has been over 4 trips to the Abra store to get our windshield replaced, and then fixed. They refused to drive out to us because we live about 25 miles away. Trip 1. Arrived only to find out they did not have our windshield in stock. Would have been nice if they had called BEFORE we showed up. Trip 2. Had the windshield installed. Trip 3. Problem with billing. Stay away from them, unless you like to make many trips.
