Worst Customer Service
In 2009, my husband and I purchased a set of siderails for our brand new 2009 Ford F150 quad cab pick-up from Trail`s End. After they had finished with the siderails, I stepped on them to see how I liked them. They gave a bit and I was unsure of whether they were installed properly or not. Went back into the store and inquired about the installation and had the manager/owner check out the installation himself. H... view moree assured me that they were installed correctly and was the right siderails for my pickup.
We recently sold my 2009 Ford F150 Quad Cab pick-up and took the time to take off the siderails to trade in for new steps on our new pickup that we had purchased. We re-visited Trails End Truck Accessories and the manager/owner told my husband that he would take the siderails in trade for two steps to go on his new pick-up. After one of his employees had driven my husband`s pick-up to the back, the manager/owner spoke with his employee and decided that they could NOT trade the siderails in for the new steps because the siderails did NOT come off of a 2009 Ford F150 pick-up, nor were they purchased at his store. He further stated that the siderails had to be Chevrolet siderails. When my husband told the owner/manager that the siderails were purchased at his store and they were installed on the 2009 Ford F150 Quad Cab pick-up, the manager/owner called my husband a liar and asked for a copy of our receipt. I still have my receipt, due to deducting the cost off of income taxes and I intend to supply the manager/owner a copy of the receipt, but I will never occupy his franchise again due to his actions. I, apparently, overpaid for the siderails on the Ford F150 Quad Cab pick-up and then was called a liar in front of customers in his store.
