WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

NEVER GO TO THIS STORE! THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER! My first time there was in the spring for an oil change and alignment. When I came back to pick up my car, I discovered Whataburger napkins and straw in my car. I immediately called the manager and he was very nice and offered me a free oil change, along with promising me the tech would be disciplined. I went back for the oil change (and wasn`t going to go back due to... view more my 1st experience). I recently went for an oil change at a different location and they found some damage that had been done to my oil pan (and immediately told me as soon as they figured it out). They suggested I go confront the manage at Midas (my last oil change) b/c I would now need my oil pan replaced b/c they screwed up a part (around $500 expense!). I went to Midas and explained to the (new) manager what they told me....he was rude the whole time, interrupting me and completely denying anything and wouldn`t call and speak to the other place. We went and got a written report and the tech called and told the manager what happened (clearly it was Midas fault) and the manager was rude again. I took the report and my car back to Midas to see if they would give me a deal on the replacement since it was their fault. Again the manager was extremely rude said he would not take responsibility and that his boss agreed with him but would not give me anyone`s number to call. So now I am stuck paying for a new oil pan b/c they do such LOUSY work!

WHAT A SHAM HERE!

I SPENT OVER $800 DOLLARS AND MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL ON. THEY CLAIMED THEY FIXED IT BUT THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON 2 DAYS AFTER THE WORK. I TRUSTED AND RELIED ON THEM. THEY SAID ANOTHER $350 WILL FIX IT...WHATEVER

BEWARE: Prepare to be lied to and kicked out here!!!

I had the worst experience ever at an auto repair shop, at this Midas location. In general, all auto places take advantage of customers of my gender, but this was a whole new level. I went in to get my radiator fixed- not knowing if there was any other problem also or not. The man at the front desk was slow, irritated and non-responsive, to say the least. After waiting for my turn, I told him what I thought was wrong... view more with my car and he typed up a work order sheet. Except, that it had no list of inspections that they would be doing... and he asked me to sign at the bottom where it said ""I agree to let Midas perform the above diagnostic tests""!!! So I asked which tests exactly was I agreeing to have done, and the man just stared condescendingly at me, as if I was being difficult. Well of course I wasnt going to sign a blank sheet, so I waited for him to reply. And this is the best part-- he then TEARS UP my work request AS I WATCH and THROWS IT INTO THE TRASH, and tells me- ""why dont you just come back later"" , turns away and starts talking to the next customer. I have never been more insulted in my life. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back there again. This happened around a month ago, and I have told all my friends never to go there, and hope people who read this review will definitely think twice before going. I just didn`t want this place to think they could treat me so terribly and get away with it, because I`m ""just"" a girl. Hence this review....

Finally a repair shop you can count on!

I have always been extremely tentative going to any place that has anything to do with automobiles. No matter who it is, you know you are going to be gouged and lied to. I chose this place after checking citysearch because I had a radiator leak and my check engine light was on. I had taken my truck to several other garages that told me everything from, the spark plugs, fuel pump, this valve or that would need to b... view moree replaced. Midas was always extremely kind and professional and let me know exactly what was wrong and how much it would cost. The problems turned out to be none of the items the previous garages had quoted. Also, the price was nowhere near the previous estimates others had given. If you are tired of getting lied to and incompetent mechanics who charge too much, go to these guys instead.
