I started this one-man operation in February 2011 because I was college student who could offer a good service, and I was sick of all the big companies that want to make big bucks out of your pocket, for a hyped-up service.? It was personal for me, since I worked at Brake Check and saw the substandard work they did for ridiculously high prices. But the other guys are the same way!? Jiffy Lube?? Bradzoil?? Valvoline?? They charge you about $39 for an oil change and have you come to THEIR building, wait in THEIR office, and they just might give you good service.? Just as often, they won`t.? Walmart?? They might have a good price, but they put nasty generic oil in your car.? I can offer you something better! Call or email me with times that work for you, and I will drive to your location and we will work out how it should be done.? It`s about YOUR convenience.? If you work all day and just can`t make it to a garage before they close, don`t take a day off!? Let me take care of it for you. And about my product: I pledge to only put nationally-renowned, name brand oil in your vehicle.? I will only use name-brand filters, not the cheap Valucraft stuff. All my prices are FINAL PRICES!? Tax included!? I do not tack on shop fees, diagnostic fees, or labor fees!? You get everything for the same low price! It is my goal to make your experience extremely satisfying and hook you on my service.? It is my goal to have every single customer become a regular customer!? I WILL beat the big guys, because I CARE more than they do.? I love working on cars.? I love getting my hands dirty!? I am my own boss, and I DO NOT cut corners! I`ve had a check engine light ...

I`ve had a check engine light come on and found myself at the Honda dealership. They wanted $3500 to replace my transmission. I talked to a friend that recommended I call around and do some research. Bobby at Aamco told me it may not need another transmission. He recommended I bring it to him for a free check. I had nothing to loose. I`m a single mom on a fixed income. I dropped my car off to Bobby, he called me late... view morer that afternoon. He said the codes in the computer told him there was some solenoid that needed replaced. He did explain that once they replaced it they would need to recheck to make sure nothing else was wrong. I gave him the go ahead, $289 sounded a lot more affordable. He called me a few hours later and gave me the good news. My car was fixed and ready for me to pick up. Bobby explained everything so I could understand and was very honest. I will be back.

Incredible Service

This was my second stop on my quest to get my fiance`s junker fixed. She was continually having trouble getting her sweet ride out of park, so first thought was to take it to a transmission shop. The first place I stopped out was a family-owned place. Murphy`s Law took over and I of course could not demonstrate the problem as soon as I got there. They looked at it for about 3 minutes and told me they couldn`t diagnos... view moree anything until the problem actually occurred and told me to come back. I immediately began my search for another shop and ended up at AAMCO. Being in the day and age of the Brake Plus ripoffs I was a little hesitant to take my car into a big name store for repair. I couldn`t have been more wrong. The repair guy listened to what the problem was, told me what he thought it could be, but said ""let`s let it sit for a minute and I`ll see if I can get it to duplicate the problem."" He did, and finally the damn thing got stuck. He was right about the needed part. They didn`t have it in stock, but didn`t send me home. They sent someone out immediately to go retrieve the part at a local auto parts store. Told me right up front what the cost was and Brandon?? the manager said he could have it thrown in there as soon as they got back. I was in and out in under an hour. Great service and great experience. I will be sending all my friends and family. Thanks for everything!

Very Happy Customer!!!

I had my vehicle in the AAMCO on S. Lamar, and they performed my 100k mile maintenance on my Honda Accord. The dealership quoted me $1300, and AAMCO did it for $900 and they finished it in the same day. Not only did they go above and beyond to earn my business, but after my experience with the guys at the S Lamar location, I will never think twice about going there again. Excellent Customer Service!!!

After being told that my transmission needed to be replaced, I took it to this AAMCO, and they were 100% professional throughout the diagnostic process. They even took me out to the shop to show me what they were doing. Unfortnately, the transmission did need to be replaced, but I am fully confident in the work provided by the AAMCO on S Lamar. very rude,waste of money

these guys are supposed to be professionals,first they set up in front of other auto shops when they are closed
very chiken s...,promised they will take better care of you if you go there,serious lie and then screw up your car worst than when you took in,and take no responsiblity for their actions,do not go to these folks
im back to my regular mechanic,he was a bit high
but at least he was honest .
