Used Car Department is a JOKE!
Went to purchase a vehicle from Cavender. Started out dealing with the New Inventory sales team, who were very professional and helpful. Unfortunately, due to our vehicle specifications, we had to deal with the UNprofessionals in the Pre-Owned department. Carlos (I think that`s his name), the self-described "Boss," informed me that the vehicle I agreed to buy would not sold for the price I was told. When I ... view moreinformed him that Ben, a manager in new inventory sales, told me that meeting my price would not be a problem, Carlos replies with, "I`m Ben`s boss...." There was also another "Manager there, who`s name I can`t recall, that was a total douche bag. There are several dealerships in the area that are willing to work with you. We went to North Park Toyota, San Antonio and were very impressed. The facility and sales staff are first class. Don`t waste your time with the losers at Cavender Toyota Used Cars.

It is ridiculous how Cavender ...
It is ridiculous how Cavender is pulling the chair out from underneath people. I called your service department and asked how much it would cost to have a brake light bulb installed and the woman said, "umm, about $35.00."
First, I was transferred four times and second what does "about, $35.00" mean. Was that just a random number she pulled out of her head. Could she have said, "umm, about... view more $55.99" or $75 too. I called you FIRST because i purchased my truck from you but I was "how a $5 bulb that takes 5 minutes to put in costs about $35.00.` I called Red McCombs Toyota and guess what they said...bring it buy and we will replace it for the price of the bulb!!! Wow!!! less than $5. go ahead call them up and ask them. he installed it right there in front of me and "said step on the brakes test it out." i did and he noticed that the top mounted brake light on my Tundra was also out. He said "you know what since i didn`t check that before we fixed the first one i wont charge you for the second one!!" Wow again!! So..guess where I am going to go for service now. Even if some of their prices may be higher and even if they are a further drive at least they were confident in their answer(s). This isn`t the first time I have had issues with your service department, but I gave your service area the benefit of the doubt. Do we have to continue to give chances? I don`t think so, especially when another company and a reputable company saved me $30 +$5(free light).

They can`t tell the truth at Cavender Toyota
My Wife and I went by Cavender Toyota, Saturday, july, 23, 2011, it was a scorching 104. We wanted to look at their Prius. The Sales person was nice enough, I don`t remember his name, but to be fair and accurate, I will go by and get it and update this review. In order to make this deal work, he had to get the keys to our Car, which was parked in front of the Buildinso that someone could check it out to see what i... view morets worth. About thirty minutes later, he made us an offer that we can`t live with, he gave us the keys to our Car back to us. We walked outside and no car, not even anyother cars were parked in the front of the building. The Salesman had other Customers waiting for him, he went off, without tellinig us where our car was, since we expected them to drive it back to where they found it. It took us a while, but we finally got his attention and after he looked around for a few minutes, he told us that our car was parked in the back, next to another building, across the street. My Wife is 7 months Pregnant and we had to walk in that heat, to get our Car. I drove back across the street and complained to a sales person, this guy tells me that it was parked back there, because they don`t have any parking spaces, by this time, our care is parked, once again, the only car parked in front of Cavender Toyota. It is so easy for them to lie, he said that, without even looking outside, its easier to lie. These People are professional liars, liars. Go to CAR MAX, they have Honest Sales People at Car Max, not professional Liars!!!! These people are Professional Liars!!!! Its like they lie so much, that they don`t know how to honestly evaluate a situation and just say, ""we don`t have parking"". I said, look, my car is the only one out there, there were at least 8 empty parking spaces for customers. These people are the most insensitive, pathologic lairs, if they can`t be honest about those empty parking spaces, they won`t be honest with your money. 104 Degrees!!!! That was disrespectful!! Customer Service is less than one Star, they deserve a -20*. Why can`t People just buy a car they same way you buy a carton of milk, without some vulture trying to trick you out of your last dime?
