Do not use them! They overcharge and cannot be trusted! This was after I had used them since 2005 and they tried to way overcharge me for work. No loyalty to even their regular customers!

DRIVERS AUTO REPAIR RIP OFF SCAM!!!!!!

I took my 1998 Chevy pickup truck in for an oil change. No big deal right??? Wrong. I dropped my car off, about an hour later I returned to find that my truck will not start. At this point the manager walked out and asked if the truck has always done that? My truck may be old but it has been very well maintained. Any noise before hand I think I would have noticed. All the Truck did was whine which sounded like the st... view morearter, and I understand that starters go out, sometimes without notice. When I crawled under the Truck there was a Bolt MISSING out of the bottom of the starter so I called the manager out and asked him about it. He looked at me like I was stupid ,just a few seconds later he comes walking out with a broke off starter bolt in his hand and asked if this belongs to me. At this point he told me ""I NEED TO LEAVE NOW AND GET MY PIECE OF CRAP TRUCK OFF OF HIS PROPERTY"" needless to say I will be getting a Lawyer and taking them to court. Do NOT Use

I went in for my state inspection 2 days ago. They failed it because my horn wasnt loud enough. They were kind enough to want to charge me $300 to fix my horn issue. Turns out it was just a lose wire.
Then they pull it into their garage, open the hood and start looking at all my fluids. I didnt request that they look at my fluids!
When they presented me with the $300 quote, they also followed with a $1500 q... view moreuote to change out my fluids as they didnt look like they should have. I have to wonder why they were under my hood to begin with for a state inspection. Did they mess with my horn? Makes me wonder. Thieves! DO NOT USE THEM!

Top Notch Service

The staff at Drivers Auto Repair made my trip there a wonderful experience. Friendly professional and very thorough with explaining what all needs to be done and promptly fixes the issue. I am glad that I have found a repair shop I am comfotable with.

Extremely unhappy with Driver`...

Extremely unhappy with Driver`s Auto, College Park Location. My mother recently took her car there to be inspected. They informed her that there were a number of things wrong with her vehicle and it is very unsafe to drive. One of the things they said was wrong was the serpantine belt which had just been replaced by our trustworthy mechanic of many years less than 2 yrs ago. They also gave her a very outrageous q... view moreuote. She then went to our mechanic and he checked it out and none of the things Driver`s Auto said were in need of fixing had anything wrong including the serpentine belt. I would not beleive them if they said the sky was blue until I got a second and maybe even third opinion. Unfortunately a star rating has to be marked but this does not deserve one.

Great place!

Great auto shop! They give you clear descriptions of what`s wrong with your car, show you the problem, and give accurate, reasonable estimates. Very friendly staff! Even gave me a discount for getting several things taken care of in one visit.
