Fast response

I live in Dallas and my son goes to Texas A & M in Galveston. He broke down at WalMart. From what he told me it sounded like the fuel pump. I called Sam and he went right over and got him on his way after showing him how to prime the fuel. Sam called me and let me know that the fuel pump was bad and gave me options to replace it. I will definitely call Sam again if there is another issue.

I was skeptical at first, with me being in a small town alone-not knowing anyone to go to for auto-mechanic help. I called around to multiple well known shops like; Cortez, Jiffy Lube, and Just Brakes-whom all told it will cost me around 150-200 to complete the job that I needed. The issue is that my brake light was on, and I noticed when I hit my brakes-it takes the car a while to slow down. I was really getting ant... view morecy with the issue being fixed. So I looked on craigslist for a mobile mechanic that could at least come out and look at the issue for me. I sent Sam a Text msg, he responded quite quickly. He came to my place of resident when he said he was going to come. If he was going to be late- he informed me that he would be late. When he arrived-he looked over the car and only informed me of the problem that I told him about. He did not tell I had this, that and the other issue-to try and get more money out of me. He saw that the reason why my brake light was on is because it needed brake fluid. He also checked all brakes and saw they were still pretty good to use. But there was a problem with the right caliber. He got it replaced for me quickly. He did not charge much at all. I did not pay 200 dollars to get the job done. I like that fact that he is truthful and trustworthy. I trusted him with the knowledge to fix my car. That he did do. That was over 72 hours ago. I will be calling soon to fix another issue I have been having for a while now-but that will have to wait til December. Good Job, Sam. Thank you very much....come grab a beer one day. BEST IN GALVESTON! I was on a trip to see my family in Dickinson. My car broke down on the island and had no clue what to do!!! A friend told me about Sam`s Auto Repair and how he will come out to where you are and fix the issue. He was wonderful and honest. Sam?ˆ™s Auto Repair is wonderful! He is very respectful and took great care of my vehicle. He was up front with everything and never deviated from the price or what was wrong with my vehicle. Rip off

This auto repair "mechanic" is a joke. There is NO shop, as he refers to, it`s two strips of concrete in front of a residence, which by the way is illegal. You can not run an auto body repair shop from a residence. Furthermore, he has no credit at any auto body parts shops, and no money so to purchase any parts he will want your cash and will not supply a receipt for these parts ( claims he can "send&q... view moreuot; you one but the store doesn`t give him one--when in fact upon calling the store they do give him a receipt) You will never get updates on the status of your repair unless either you call him or he needs more cash. He also can not even get half way done with a repair in almost 22 hours, when a reputable repair shop can compete the same job in 4 hours. In our case he also caused further damage to our car resulting in an additional $400 in repairs when we finally got it to reputable repair shop. Take our advice and stay away from this so-called business.

With that being said there`s two sides to every story and this guy only heard the side of a lady who is out of her mind. I feel I need to tell the whole story and how this man came to this assumption. I recieived a call, from a family here on vacation, having issues with their 2000... view more Dodge Caravan. They were stuck at their hotel so I drove over at no charge to take a look at it. The gentleman was very nice and I love to see people here for vacation so I went across town to buy him some power steering fluid and returned to fill it up so that he was able to take his family out that night. I didn`t charge him a dime for that service because I know money is tight and I wanted to help him save some money. The next day I had it dropped off at my shop and gave this gentleman a ride back to his hotel. Once I started taking everything apart I determined it had been flooded by salt water, later told by this guy, in Katrina. I called to tell them it was going to take a lot longer than normal due to all the rust and bolts that would have broke if I hadn`t takin my time getting them out. So, this was on a Tuesday, she called me later that night to tell me they needed to go to Houston at 7am and I worked on this van til almost 6am trying to finish. I wasn`t able to and felt bad so I sent them a text saying Im sorry but I will get yall a rental car at my expense, so that I could finish and they could still go out. I was woken up at 730 am by the police banging on my door, this is less than two hours after I went to bed, to see that she had a wreaker, an officer and a cab driver all at my house. My neighbor was out there with them and heard everything she was telling these people. I walk out the door and she instantly started to yell at me say I had here van for three days and that I was a horrible person and god knows what else this lady was saying. First off I had their van for less than 17 hours and this was the first time Id met this wonderful lady, while her husband said nothing. I asked him why he didn`t just take me up on my offer on a rental car. His response, I cant afford it. I told him I sent him a clear text that I would cover it so they could get around. Well, his wife didn`t tell him my offer and was in the dark. So, not only did I not try to screw these people, I went out of my way to help them by charging them less than half of what any shop on the island would have, went out of my way for free to get him on the road the first day I got the call, offered a free rental from enterprise and saw some safety issues and offered to fix for free. With that being said, I was shocked to see she had brought a police officer and wreaker to my house and told them all a bunch of lies. She was with out a doubt, not right in the head. Anyways, the whole reason I started this business was because I was tired was working for shops that screwed people everyday and being a Christian, I couldn`t deal with seeing it happen. Im a business man and screwing people is bad business. It only take a few unhappy people to bring you down. Im very honest and would love to show you how I can help you save money and that I not only do the work the correct way or not at all, but will go out of my way to make you happy. People tell me everyday Im too honest and too nice and it gets me into trouble sometimes. So, theres two sides to every story and this guy only heard the side from a lady who tells lies. Once i arrived in Galveston from Austin, I was busy to do everything with friends for our vacation. However, i saw smoke that came out of my hood. i was so freaked out at that time because friends depeneded on my car for going back to Austin. i had to check a place that could replace radiator and its main fan via internet.
