This place doesn`t even deserv...
This place doesn`t even deserve a star. Ray was the most disrespectful and condescending employee that I have ever had to deal with. I will never take my vehicle here again. They have no problem with taking your money and making your car worse. This place should be shut down.

These guys are awesome!!
The guys over at Better Deal really own up to their name. I came to see them on a Friday evening for an oil change. When I walked up to the door, I noticed that all of the bay doors were closed. I went in anyway, and told them that I came for an oil change, but could see that they were closed. They were so nice. They asked me for my keys, and re-opened one of the bays so they could change my oil. While they wer... view moree changing it, they noticed that one of my belts was in bad shape. I said that I`d bring it back when they were open. The guys insited and told me it would only take a few minutes to replace it. When they brought the belt in to show it to me, it was dry rotted and cracked. I was so thankful that they found it. I was going to drive to Austin the next morning, and the last thing I need is to break down in the middle of no where. Their prices are so good. I paid less than $80 for both the oil change and belt replacement. I highly recommend this shop.

This shop is now closed.
I really loved going to this location because it was so close to my house. They are still close by. Their new location is off of Kuykendahl Rd. You can look it up on the Citisearch website. I put in a good word for them there.

Best shop in Spring
I agree with MoMinSpring. I had an excellent experience at Better Deal Auto Repair. Talk about friendly service. I was treated like I was one of their family members. I received quick service. Their prices are very affordable. I called them for a quote on replacing my front and rear brakes after going to another shop who told me I needed to replace them. Better Deal saved me $70 off of the quote from the other... view more shop, and I got a lifetime warranty on the parts.

Change the name to BEST DEAL
They aren`t kidding with the name. I pulled into the parking lot because my battery was giving me trouble. They replaced my battery for free. I even bought my own part. There was no money exchanged. When I offered $20 to the mechanic, they refused to take it and said just give us a good word. So, that`s what I`m doing. I also sent one of my friends that needed repairs and they were also very happy.

BEST SHOP IN SPRING
The Stuebner Airline location is now owned by a different company, but Better Deal Auto Repair has a location at 18627 Kuykendahl Rd. I love this shop. They are always courteous, and strait forward. I like them because unlike some shops, they don`t just tell you what`s wrong with your car. They will actually take you out and show you what is happening. They give me a thorough description of what the part does an... view mored what will happen if it`s not repaired. The last time I took my vehicle in, it needed extensive repair that couldn`t be fixed in an hour. Instead of making me wait in the waiting room, I was offered a ride to my house and picked up when the repairs were complete. Very trustworthy shop!!!

Better Deal Auto is a great place to take your car to!
Hi!
Dear Fellow City Search Members,
I have been going to Better Deal Auto for a long time.
Almost three years ago, my first encounter was this:
My parking light burnt out I stop at O`Reilly`s Auto Store and pick up the bulbs and I quickly pulled into Better Deal Auto with an SUV loaded with kids. I explained the situation and one of the guys took off my front grill to get access to the light... view more box and fixed it for free! I was like WOW, really?!
A month later I needed an oil changes and it was only $13.95! And you get in and out rather quickly. A bonus they put a sticker on your window to make sure you know when to change it again. (Since than 2 years ago the price has increased to $14.95).
I loved the service, and got my first tune up a couple of months later. My SUV ran like a champ! I was so pleased that my sister took her two cars in for service.
Now it`s three years later and I was at another auto store just this past WEEK run by a HUGE franchise (not going to mention as that would be RUDE) (I went there because my battery was bought there and under a warranty) Any way, they said I needed to replace my alternator. They replaced the battery for free plus a labor charge to put in the new one. I said I have an auto guy already, to give me a written estimate. The next day, I took it to Better Deal Auto and he tested it and said the alternator is fine holds the voltage just fine. That saved me money for the alternator!
It`s time to do some other work on it. So, I am having other work done as I write this. Tune up, alignment and fixing my DVD`s screens in the headrest (all the kids will be SO happy!). My SUV is old but has been a great vehicle for MANY years. It`s paid off and it a good SUV to drive. My young son says NEVER sell it! lol
I am a working mom and every dollar counts, especially when you have an illness (cancer). I would recommend this shop to any MOM or DAD.
As I mentioned before driving an SUV that`s older as you know, needs regular maintenance to keep running smooth and like it was a new SUV.
If you want fair pricing and good work. This is the place for you. You will find that you are NOT a number or another job but a person, neighbor and friend.
What more can I say?!

Take your auto or SUV in and see the difference. Pricing also! In this economy ALL OF THE ABOVE counts!
MominSpring. Take care!
Oh yeah, I f orgot to mention last year my brother-in-law had an issue with his Stratus he called them and they came to PICK UP his car (towed). He has had no problems and it`s been almost a year since it happened.

Decondo Kasey Needs 2 Be Shut Down
I went to Better Deals for a 14.95 dollar oil change and ended up having to replace the engine in my car. I didn`t recieve a reciept after the oil change and was told later you only get one if you request one. I got home and all of the oil in my car had leaked out. My mother took me back up there I asked for a reciept the guy wrote me one and then I told him what happened. He had a tower come out and tow my car that... view more day and they re-did the oil change and said it was a faulty filter. Well the car was running ok and I told him if there were anymore problems to bring it back. Well the next day the oil had started leaking out again once I got to work I turned around and went home and called him and told him that the car wasn`t running anymore. He told me that they`d take a look at it but I had to pay for towing this time. I told him no. I again went up to the shop to speak with him and he said that the O` Reilys next door was at fault for the faulty filter. We spoke with them and they told me I had to wait 60 days to get any kind of response on who was going to fix my car. I had to be up to Ohio a week from then for another job so I didn`t have that time to wait. I spoke with the other manager and tried to get Decondo`s number but they claimed they didn`t have it. I finally lost it on the guy and told him I`d sue if they didn`t fix my car. He said bring it in and i`ll look at it. I knew the engine was blown and I didn`t want them touching it if they couldn`t handle a simple oil change. I ended up calling a friend to replace the engine and it cost me $2500 to replace it for a $14.95 oil change I had done and didn`t get any kind of compensation or even a refund for the oil change. I would definitely NOT take your vehicle there Decondo Kasey`s shop is a joke.
