This is mafia shop

This place is run by mafia. They lured my business with low quote and nice talk at the begining. Once they had my car in their hand, things changed. Promised 3 days job become 3 weeks. Our insurance company covered one week of car rental based on their estimation. Talked to owner Kevin, he refused to take responsiblity of their mess up. They held my car hostage, demanded us to pay up to their extortion before they would release my car. I have tried to contact Maaco`s franchis HQ to resolve the issue, but they don`t care. So the only resort left to me is to sue them. But it would be too much hassle.

The quality of work is also inferior. They did not assemble the parts back properly. The hiden wire is exposed. The rubber around the winshield is ripped off and not adhered. The paint is spotty and some area is unevenly painted.

So buyers be aware, stay away from this crook.

Top of the Line Paint Service

I went in w/ a beat up looking 69 camaro. When I was inside the salesman was very helpful in explaining all the types of service they provided. I decided to get bodywork done as well as the top of the line paint job. I had this quoted at other body-shops and they all gave me a range of $12,500-$7,500. When I got the quote from Maaco on 1960 they gave me a total estimate of $4,500. Best part came when I got the call to tell me everything was finished. It came out much better then i even imagined and the paint looked like glass. I took it to a friend who worked at one of the other bodyshops that I got a quote at to try and pick the job apart. He could find no wrong. He admitted that its too difficult to compete against Maaco`s prices because they get their paint cheaper then other bodyshops not that they use cheap paint. I find it offensive to read Sandy Lane`s poor comments after I had such fantastic service. Especially since they have 5 different paint services listed on the wall w/ different types of quality. You cant go in and buy the cheapest paint service you see and expect it to be what the original factory paint was. I am defending Maaco because I feel so strongly w/ how wonderful they treated me and my family.

Poor Poor Paint Job!!!

I brought my car in for a very minor fender bender, and was talked into a complete ""paint job"" My dealership (where I carried the car to be Re repaired and RE painted said they could not guarantee a match on the paint because it was enamel. They also told me Nobody paints cars with enamel, but Maaco of course. They also had to rework the original body work,as it was not straight.
