I have taken my car into Chips Auto a total of 5 times for front end work and have spent almost $1500.00 on repairs and it`s still not fixed. It still squeaks and road walks. They couldn`t even get the steering wheel straight when they aligned the front end for the third time. They even tried to charge me double the standard charge for the alignment the first time saying it took them extra time to get it aligned. Eve... view moren though a front end alignment is a flat rate charge at any shop. As for the squeak I was told "those cars are known for that?ˆ? and when I said it still doesn`t drive like it should I was asked "well how should it drive". Well it should drive better than it did when I first brought it in. They also worked on the emissions because the check engine light was on. It took them all five times that I took the car in and $120.00 in parts plus the $89.00 they charged me to check it out. I was told again ?ˆ?those cars are known for that?ˆ? when it took them so many times to fix it. Only to find out it was a hose that had become disconnected on the purge valve that was the problem. You would think as an experienced mechanic they would of check out all the connections on the initial check. I`m not sure about all of you but I will NOT be going back to this Garage again and I?ˆ™m going to take my car into an ASE Certified Mechanic to check the work done by Chips Auto.

Car Repair Phobic No More!

I am an absolute car-phobe. I am constantly worried about getting ripped off at car repair places (thanks to previous experience), or paying through the nose for something I really don`t need. The price of the service was very fair, and definitely better than some places I have been to. They also went out of their way to fix my messed up door and put on the new windshield wipers I had been hauling around with me for ages. All for no extra charge. I would highly recommend visiting Chips if you want some straight-forward advice with friendly service.

Best shop in town.

I recently brought my `87 Buick Grand National here for some suspension upgrades. Chip was awesome to deal with and got the work done in a timely fashion and made sure it was top notch. I am very hesitant bringing my car to anybody as I do most of the work myself, but I would absolutely bring the car to Chip again. Great Customer Service

I had recent electrical problem with my Dodge Pickup and took it to another shop first for an estimate. The other shop estimated the repair to be an extraordinary amount for what I thought would be a small fix. I took my truck to Chips and was able to get the repair done for an extremely minimal cost. Chip`s diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and checked the fix several times to make sure the problem was fixed, all wit... view morehin a few hours. Chips worked with me on the payment and retrieval of my pickup as well because I had left on a trip out of town right after I dropped it off. I was absolutely amazed with the customer service and mechanical service at this shop and will not be taking my vehicle to any other shops in the future. Chip`s brings good old fashioned customer service and great rates into the ""high priced priced and sub-par repair"" modern world of mechanics and auto repair.

Very satisfied

Service was excellent, timely, and payment was what was quoted a week earlier for bumper repair, which I found to be quite reasonable. The staff was very professional and courteous. I won`t hesitate to use Chip`s again for auto repair.

The Good Ol` Fashion Mechanic Youve Been Looking For.

Title says it all, My Friends Before my current car, i owned an 94 Nissan Altama, which as you can imagine would have more than a few things falling off the edges. The best service i have ever experienced

I had my 2000 ford f-250 serviced buy a monkey with a hammer prior to taking it to chips auto repair shop i called chip a couple of day;s prior to taking the vehicle to him and liked what he had to say.

Quick, Courteous, Great Price!

I took my Honda to Chips Auto Repair for a slipping Transmission. Chip quoted me a great price on a bumper to bumper service; Transmission, Oil, Filter, Air Filter and A/C filter, Fluids, Spark Plugs, etc. While I was there I realized that Chip`s also does Tint and Stereo. Made my car feel like new again!

I have just had several things done at Chip`s. My Parents have been taking their Cars there for years and gave me a Gift Certificate for Tint at Chip`s for Xmas. Before I went back to college, I had the old bubbling window tint replaced, Oil changed, and treated myself to a new Radio with Ipod control.
