What a joke!
These guys are definitely commission based. They seem to take advantage of people with trying to tell them things that need to be changed. What happened to looking out for the consumer? I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN! Thankfully they didn`t touch my vehicle and didn`t pay them anything. Go some where else that more trustworthy.

Don`t recommend
I went to Lamb`s automotive in the Wal-Mart shopping center a couple of days ago to see why all of a sudden after a 1,600 mile roadtrip my steering wheel was shaking pretty badly. They informed me that somehow on the drive my rim got bent. Now mind you, I did not hit anything including a curb. They said they would order me a new rim and that I would need a new tire also. So 250.00 dollars later I would have to wait 3... view more to 4 days for a new rim and in the meantime drive on my donut. This was on Monday, it`s now Wednesday and they called me to tell me that they don`t have my rim in the warehouse and would refund my money but THAT would take another 2 days to get back. So I took it to small shop here in Round Rock and the gentlemen told me that my rim was indeed just fine , and that it was only my tire that needed to be replaced and that the place I took it to before was just trying to get some money out of me. So I look at it this way, god works in mysterious ways and my rim wasen`t in their warehouse for a reason. I will never recommend anyone to any Lamb`s automotive ever!

rip off place
I had to get my car towed because I could not get my lug nuts off and I bent my wheel lock key. So I towed it there and they charged me 94 dollars to break it off. I did not know better but I asked discount tires and they only charge 10 dollars. They must have knew I was in bad shape and probably did not want to have to towed it somewhere else so they charged me a horrendous price. I will never be going back there!

What`s up Lamb`s??
When we first moved here Lambs was a good place to take your care. Someone who could be trusted.
(THat was 2 or so years ago). I just took our van in- we are having some issues with it and are trying to decide whether to fix and keep or just get rid of it. We have done this with another vehicle and Lambs didn`t charge and we felt were quite honest.
I dropped off the car this morning to have them look at it.... view more When I picked it up, they charged me $50 for a ""cooling system check"" I have no problem with paying for a check of any kind (after all they are paying their guys to look at the car) BUT I do have a lot of problems with NOT BEING TOLD I would be charged!
I hope MARC T. and Lambs enjoys their last $50 from me.
I checked this website wondering who would have good reviews....I checked lambs out of courisity....I am not shocked that there are SO many unhappy with lambs.....
I ll be checking these reviews for a good place to take the car.

Typical customer suck out
I went for a 4 wheel disc brake job on my 2002 Chrys Town and Country van, which I knew was due, but also knew that there was some pad left. They got it on the rack, then came back at me with a $600.00 repair fee. He said that the fronts were wearing unevenly, so they needed to replace the brakes, rotors and calipers! This was something I could have done on my own but didn`t because I wanted to save my own time, s... view moreo I knew they were full of it. So I told em get it off the rack and see ya. A week later I did the brakes myself, and lo and behold the calipers were fine, just needed the normal lube on the guide pins, the brake pads were barely different, which could account for a 200lb man sitting in the drivers seat every time the van was driven. The rotors were also fine (you can always have these resurfaced, I went ahead and replaced the fronts since the van was already up on jack stands). Total cost to me was my time and $120.00. If they would have been honest they would have had a repeat customer, instead I say stay away, far away. Go to Christian Brothers instead.

Lies lies lies
We recently bought 4 minivan tires with road hazard warranty through Lamb`s thinking it would cover us if something happened to one of the tires...wrong. My wife had a gash in one of the tires so she took it to good ole Lambs where they told her ""Everything will be fine! Ill bet you`re glad you got the road hazard warranty?"" The guy went on to tell her not to worry and everything will be taken care of. Whe... view moren I went to pick up the MINIVAN with stock rims (nothing special) the guy again said how fortunate I was to have the ""Road Hazard Warranty"". Then he proceeded to check me out saying there were some ""small fees"". At that point he charged me $64 which included another charge for Road Hazard. WOW! I sure was glad to have the ""Warranty""!
""Best in Austin for customer satisfaction"" - Here is a lie from the Lambs website. Everyone i`ve told this story to has laughed at me for even trying Lambs! Still waiting to hear something positive. I hope you are reading this BEFORE going to Lambs.
