BUYER BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE

BUYER BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I went to Just Brakes when my brakes were squeaking. In summary, nothing they said I needed turned out to be true.
They said for 99 dollars you can have pads for all four wheels, rotors turned and installed.
They have no intention of ever doing this. They came and said I needed $500 worth of new parts which included, but no limited to:
All new cylinder,... view more seals, hardware, springs, new rotors and that my pads were worn down so much they were "metal on metal".
They used the "your car isn`t safe on the road, you will crash if you don`t do this" trick. Well, I look like a suburban guy, but what they didn`t know is I am blue collar and I have done tons of mechanic work myself.
So one guy, said his schpeel, (which sounded rehearsed), when I didn`t bite, he brought the other guy to re-iterate I would most likely die in this car if I didn`t spend $500.
They said, this car is from up north and the "whole brake system is shot".
So I told them all the work I have done on cars. They completely changed their tactics and started lowering the price....$480-$420-$360 etc.......down to $220.....at this point I said, put on new front pads. They refused and I took the car away.
I took it to a good dealer and guess what : EVERY SINGLE THING THEY SAID WAS A BOLD FACED LIE.
The seals were fine, the springs worked as they should....the guy showed me everything........he even knew who lied to me because he had heard that SAME STORY from countless other people............
They even lied the parking brake was non-functional and "wouldn`t pass inspection". ALL A LIE.......
So what they said was $500.........was actually $50!!!!! new front pads and guess what?!?? Those even had some life left and were NOT metal on metal. Everything else checked out fine.
They are con artists and liars...............watch out....they are good at it...........they must go through liar school prior to working there......
I would bet my life that they have NEVER actually done a $99 job.........it is all BAIT AND SWITCH.
Do not go there...........cannot be trusted.....I hope this helps other people avoid the time and hassle and money these people scam from honest people.

Just Brakes...Just Sucks!!
I have had to take my 03` Mazda 6, back to their Wm. Cannon Location 3 times in 3 months!!!! I know my language when it comes to vehicle repairs, so I made them cover it under the warranty, as they were trying to double-talk their way out of it. BUT, then they said they had to special order the part. I waited the next day, and the part was the incorrect one. So, instead of just taking the blame for ordering the wron... view moreg part, they blamed it on the parts wharehouse, saying that there are two options and the wharehouse sent the wrong one. So, when I told them to go to the Dealer to get the part, they said they could not. That I would have to wait another day for the part to come in. I am a loyal customer to whom ever does vehicle work for me. But I will never take ANY of my other vehicles to Just Brakes!! I hope they read this so they can fix their crappy business trade!!

Don`t go to Just Brakes
I first went to `just brakes` about 3 years ago. They claimed that I needed all new brake pads and routers($450). I went ahead with it because they claimed that I was lucky to have gotten as much mileage as I had out of the brakes (40k miles)
After they ""fixed"" the brakes, they were still squeaking. I took the car back several times and it was never repaired. I went to a different repair place- they found a ... view more$60 repair and the squeaking was gone. So the $60 repair was probably all that I ever needed.
Just recently, I was told that my front brakes needed to be replaced by the dealership (and the brakes were squeaking). I took the car in to Just Brakes for the lifetime warrantee replacement and they claimed that the brake pads were in like new condition and the squeaking was the back brakes routers. I fell for their scam and paid to have the routers re-surfaced. Well, guess what? the brakes are still squeaking.
I don`t know what it will take to get them to actually honor their lifetime warrantee and I don`t know that I would even trust them to replace the front brake pads after reading all the online reviews about them.

Crooks, Liars, Theives!!!
These people are the worst kind of crooks! They lied to me, held my car hostage to make me pay much more than I should have for more service than the vehicle needed, and then their customer service specialist that i called told me I was a liar. I realized after being taken for far too much money, that I had signed away my right to any legal recourse against the company. Don`t waste your time or money with these gu... view moreys; I think that the other review of them must have been written by an employee. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

These guys are great, really!
If you expect a good brake job (and not a rip-off which is what we`ve been programmed to expect),
you`ll get a great deal here. Really, and more than that, at a fair price. I took a car in that was overdue for a
brake job and these guys called to tell me exactly what was needed and no more. They even put their heads together to get me the best deal. Hey, you won`t find a better place to get your brakes fix... view moreed, really. Oh, and they got everything done the same day!
