Former Long Time Customer
I have taken my family`s cars to this business for approximately 11 years. I have always had my suspicions that they were not always completely honest, but I had no proof. I now have proof. I took my daughter`s car in because her air conditioner wasn`t working. After doing a $39.99 A/C Performance Check I was given a list of recommended services from the Technician. A/C Evacuate and Recharge R134A - $79.99, Dai... view moregnosis Check/Diagnosis Air vent Operation - $40.00, Coolant Flush with New Anti-Freeze - $89.99, Freon, 28 0z - $28. With taxes and "shop supplies" the total came to $275.92. We decided to buy a can of freon and put it in the the car ourselves. The car took 6 ounces of freon, while putting in the freon we noticed a hose was unhooked, we put the hose back in and the AC works fine now. I will not be using this Firestone again and I warn anyone reading this to be aware.
