Best German Automobile Garage !!!
I have been coming to German Motor Works for almost 11 years now. I have fixed both my older and newer BMWs as well as my wife`s newer Mercedes Benz at German Motor Works. These guys are truly excellent, dedicated, honest and have always taken care of all our cars whether it was an engine rebuild, transmission rebuild, brake work, normal maintenance and heavy duty tuneups/inspections. Joe is absolutely a fantastic ow... view morener and always puts the customers concerns as number one priority which is why he has had so many long time and loyal customers. Tony and Mike are absolutely great also and have always taken care of the most complicated jobs on my cars and in a very timely fashion. In the almost 10 years I have brought my cars to German Motor Works, they have always invariably correctly diagnosed the problems and would always give me a very accurate estimate beforehand. I have saved a huge amount of money, time and effort by bringing my cars to German Motor Works instead of to any other shop or dealership.

Worth the Drive
I recently purchased a Z3 Roadster from an private seller. This was my first endeavor with a BMW vehicle. Within a week, I heard an awful squeaking noise coming from the rear shocks / suspension. After hours of internet research, I feared the worst. I took it Joe at German Motor Work. He inspected the suspension and found nothing wrong. He said I could replace the bushings, but it would be an unnecessary expense... view more at this time. He put a special silicon grease on all of my bushings and eliminate the noise. He also said that if it started squeaking again to just bring it in. All of this was done at no cost to me (although I did agree to some other work that was needed / due). I found his prices to be very fair. I would definately recommend them to any potential customer.

Awesome!!!! BMW Repair Work
KD,
I have had the pleasure and experience to do business with German Motor Works. I currently own a 2002 BMW 530I (Silver Bullet). Customers recognize good work and good people; it`s a pleasure to know that whenever you bring your car in for any maintenance or repair they simply got your back. I would not take my car to any other place in town except German Motor Works. I enjoy the personal relationship that has grown over the years with Joe, Trica and Tony ~ one of the lead technicians, as well as the other staff members. I look forward to continue doing business with German Motor Works!!!!!! They are Awesome!!!!!!

Danger, danger, danger!
Unfortunately, with too long an experience with this business, I have to be very honest. Joe, the owner is an absolute pathological liar. Two times I brought the car in for an oil change and two times I left with the air conditioning broken. Naive as I am, I paid them to fix the air condition then they said the water pump and radiator where leaking. Then after another oil change the air conditioning didn`t work again... view more and Joe said it was because the car was over heating and system shut down. I was shocked at such a stupid answer. When I called them on it they reconnected a wire and the air condition has been fine ever since. The car wasn`t over heating at all. To this day the overflow tank is full and I haven`t needed to add water. My daughter bought a car they recovered on a lean and Joe swore up and down the car was perfect with no issues. After buying the car we put another $3,000 into repairs to make it work. Before selling the car they put in new breaks but not new rotters which cause wear. They break as they fix. No doubt about it. These guys are subtle in the criminal activity they perpetrate but it`s there for sure.

Best place to have your BMW or Mercedes serviced!
I have been using German Motor Works for over a year now and that?ˆ™s the only place I have my BMW serviced. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They not only tell you what needs to be replaced or repaired on your car, but why it needs servicing. One day I was in a hurry and needed tires asap. The shop was very busy at the time so Joe sent me directly to the person whom he was buying the tires from so I would... view moren?ˆ™t have to wait longer at his shop for the tires to be transferred over. He?ˆ™s certainly more interested in repeat customers than making a little extra money at the customer?ˆ™s inconvenience. Another time I had gotten bad gas and didn?ˆ™t know it. Joe had me bring the car in a couple of different times as the engine started cutting in and out. He couldn?ˆ™t find anything wrong with it either time. He looked at the car and ran diagnostics and still nothing. He said he didn?ˆ™t want to start replacing parts until he could identify precisely what the problem was. We eventually arrived at the conclusion it was bad gas. He poured an engine additive into the car and I could immediately tell the difference. I never experienced engine problems after the additive. Joe could have wasted my money replacing parts before identifying the root cause, but instead he stuck with it until the root cause was identified and then he easily rectified it. I?ˆ™ve also had oil changes and brake work performed at German Motor Works. I also like their Saturday hours too so I don?ˆ™t have to miss work to have my car serviced. I?ˆ™m pleased with the level of service I get and I recommend their service to anyone with a BMW or Mercedes!

Keep your Mercedes Benzes away from here!
Nice people only goes so far... when hired to put in motor mounts and rear suspension accumulators on my 1996 S500 Benz, they did such a horrible job it cost my several hundred to have the work redone at another shop! They ruined one accumulator, wedged the motor mounts in improperly, and bent part of the lower shield mount so they could try to fit in another motor mount - something previous shops never had to do. ... view moreThen to top it off, they did NOT replace my $50 lower motor cover and kept all the parts! It sounds like they knw what they are doing with BMWs but Mercedes Benz owners avoid this place at all costs!
