I thought I bought an Excursion on Saturday over the phone to a real nice salesman Scotty. We talked several times on the phone Saturday and then again on Sunday confirming everything before I bought a plan ticket to fly from New Mexico on Tuesday morning to buy the SUV with a cashiers check. Well wrong!
I got a call Monday morning from Scotty staying there was a mechanical issue with the vehicle and they couldn`t s... view moreell me the car. Their mechanic had bought it! We talked to the manager later Monday when he finely was available and he just said sorry. They can`t do anything about my plane ticket either. The big problem I have beside loosing $213.00, is no one ever said let us find you another vehicle. Is this really a car dealership that doesn`t try to sell me a car after wronging me?
What does this Manager, Scott Saverne really do. Absolutly no customer service!

Watch out for finance department
The sales people were great, but watch every move, read every thing they hand to you sign, and don`t trust their finance department farther than you can throw them. During the sales process, I agreed to a $500 rebate with 1.9% interest for 60 months. Yet, when I got into the finance department, the gentleman tried to slide paperwork to me for a $1500 rebate with 63 payments at 3.99% interest. First he claimed it w... view moreas 3.9%, but when I pressured for more info, he admitted it was 3.99%. Then he said ""it would be cheaper for you, just trying to help you out."" He showed where my payment would actually be a couple of cents less for the 3.99% rate. Well, when I got down to the truth - 3.99% at 63 months vs 1.9% at 60 months does give you a lower payment by cents, but costs you THREE extra payments! He became outwardly aggitated (ruffling through his desk, slamming the drawers, etc) when I told him I was going to check those calculations myself. Then he lied to me and said the 1.9% was also for 63 months (which the finance agreement clearly showed 60). Finally, after a few choice words between my husband and the finance guy, I told him to go back to the original 1.9%. Then the guy tries to slide in GAP coverage which I did not need as I had a large enough downpayment that I would NEVER be upside down on the vehicle. Didn`t ask if I wanted it, just slid it in....... It is a real shame this finance department had to pull this crap. We are in need of a second car soon. I don`t want to deal with a dealership that is dishonest.

Wonderful
A very pleasant experience purchasing a new 2008 Focus in June. I will be returning next time I am in the market for a new or used car. If you go, be sure to ask for Stan "the Man"!
