Excellent
"" I recently had repairs done to my 2011 Cadillac CTS by Allied Collision (hwy. 6 and beechnut location)
The staff was very caring and attentive to all my concerns. These guys are true professionals and will go the extra mile for their customers. The service along with repairs were expedited and I was constantly provided with a up to date status of my vehicle. I definitely recommend everyone to get their repairs... view more done here at this body shop. Thanks Allied for the great work! ""

Car like new!
Allied Collision did a wonderful job on my wrecked `08 Altima. As the headline says, it looked brand new. They even cleaned the interior for me. There were some issues with the person-at-fault`s insurance but Marlene Garza at the front desk kept me constantly updated. She did a better job than my lawyer I hired, no joke. Thanks!

Trustworthy auto body repair!
Allied collision center is by far the place to go when you wreck your vehicle. I have used them at least five times for my vehicle and family members. Every experience has been great, they`re very courteous, honest and timely with the repairs. Your vehicle will look brand spanking new when you get it back! I can`t believe any of these bad reviews I`ve read. I will continue to be a repeat customer and send all of my f... view moreamily and friends to them. Thanks Allied!

Finally a shop that can do excellent body work
I am a 57 year old man and I have been in a few wrecks in my time. Usually I go to where the insurance company works with the repair facility. This time I chose Allied Collision in Houston to repair my vehicle. The reason for making this decision is they are very honest and their customer service is second to none. When the accident happened the Allied Wrecker Driver Jimmy picked me up and towed my car to a gas stat... view moreion so officer could do report. When we finished the paperwork I still was unsure where I wanted my vehicle to go. Officer told me that if I let the car go to approved police impound lot; insurance would take care of the rest for me. When I went to the lot to get my belongings out of my car the next day, while I was entering the drive to the storage facility I met an Allied Collision manager/ owner. We spoke briefly about the process I was going through and he made me feel like the insurance was going to handle the whole thing for me. He told me he could give me a rental car and did not have to wait for insurance to assign an adjuster. I had to go to work the following morning so I agreed to give his company a shot. I understand the insurance business very well; mainly the insurance company controls the repair. When I got a copy of the estimate, I was surprised to see the insurance estimate included used and remanufactured parts to repair my vehicle. The insurance even told Allied where to buy these used parts, what to pay for them and so on. This is where I fell in love with Allied, and realized I was in the right place. I called the manager at Allied to see if there was anything I could do to remedy the use of using used parts. I was told that because my car is a 2009 that the parts are used, in the insurance company eye. However Allied has a competitive parts program with area dealers and since I was promised OEM parts (dealer parts), they fulfilled this promise and had receipts to show me they kept their word. When I went to pick up my vehicle at the end of repair, I was very pleased. I walked in to pay my deductible and was told to check out the car first to make sure I was happy and then come back in to pay. I gave the car a look over/test drive and WOW, my baby is fixed. Thank you thank you thank you Allied Collision. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else.

Gotta give it to them, they`re good!
I read all these reviews and feel like I must say something. I am a recent satisfied customer at Allied Collision. I picked my car up from this location on 5-2-2011 after repairs were complete. I should have left a review immediatly but today when I went to post my feelings about this shop I noticed negative reviews.
My review is simple, the work order number for my vehicle repair was 13593 or R.O. number. As a b... view moreusiness owner I know this number represents the number of cars repaired at this facility. Over 13000 vehicles repaired, only two negative reviews??? Allied, thank you. I am very pleased with the work you did on my car and glad I chose your company.

Beware of this company!
This company has been a complete nightmare to work with. They are motivated by greed and will say ANYTHING to get your car on their premises. The day after my accident a ""manager"" appeared at my home with papers for me to sign....a practice I have since discovered is definitely out of the norm. This manager asked me if I wanted the car totaled or if I wanted it repaired...he claimed to have some special relation... view moreship with an insurance adjuster. Excuse me? Isn`t that called insurance fraud??? They are absolute CROOKS over there! Has the Attorney General looked into this place? Be very weary of these people. Dishonest to the core.

Allied = Scam Artists!
Crooks and Slimebags are the 2 best words to sum up Allied Collision.

My Experience:
We had an accident that my family was involved in, when I arrived to the scene, the tow truck driver recommended Allied (surely there was a spiff involved). More worried about my family being OK I agreed to have my car taken to Allied as suggested by the tow truck service as my vehicle dealer does not have a body shop. ... view more

Red Flag #2:
A day later, the sales manager asked us for a signature in order to remove the front bumper so that the insurance adjuster could see the extent of the damage. Sounded reasonalbe so I thought, we instead were signing a document authorizing Allied to proceed with working on my vehicle. Net-Net we signed a document under false pretences - this document is what Allied uses to proceed with doing work on the vehicle and leveraged to keep my car hostage.

Red Flag #2
A few days later after my family was cleared from the hospital I started to do research on Allied here on City Search and sadly the negative reviews became my nightmare.

Red Flag #3
I called my insurance company to inform them that I was moving my car to another shop that does the body work for the dealers of my specific vehicle. I informed both my insurance company and the new body shop to have my vehicle moved which was agreed to by Allied. When the new body shop went to retreive my vehicle, Allied blatently lied to them and informed them that I was having my work done with Allied - based on the document we had signed under false pretences.

Red Flag #4
A day later after getting the run around from the owner of Allied and making several threats to have an attorney and HPD involved, my insurance company was able work on paying Allied their astronomical fees that they said were based on working on my vehicle. They would not release my vehicle without my signature on a release form and payment for the repairs already done that we authorized under false pretences.

Red Flag Payment:
Orignally the owner told me I would need to present him with a cashiers check for $5,700 (2 days of work)! After my insurance company spoke to him the price came down to $3,300 - amazing!

My insurance representative had never heard of any of this type of activity from any auto body shop in his 25 years.

My conclusion is that Allied Collision (from the owner down) are professional scam artists that should be investigated and put out of business.
