WARNIKNG!!! Whatever you do d...
WARNING!!! Whatever you do do NOT buy a vehicle from this sorry excuse for a dealership. And pre warning for anyone looking at one of the range rovers they have for sale please do NOT buy it as you will soon regret it. I went there to look at a 2004 range rover with good miles (only 65k) When I got there I was given a key and told to drive to some field and find the vehicle. After searching for the RR in what lo... view moreoks to be a junk yard I finally found a RR covered in dirt. As I was sketchy at this point I decided to do a complete evaluation of the RR inside and out.(I was told before I got there that it was in mint condition) Once inside I could easily tell that this RR was smoked in(whether previous owner or the dealership themselves.) On the website it said that the vehicle was not smoked in. Also there was a cig burn in the center console along with one on the sunroof cover. The leather was in awful shape and there were many other flaws inside. Now after turning the vehicle on I checked all the electronics. The dash display was dying out and you could barely even make out the mileage that was on the RR. When I went to pop the hood to check the engine I found that it was impossible since the lever was broken. After checking the outside of the RR I had found many large scratches and also the front passenger side was scuffed up from a fender bender (mirror was cracked along with a small dent above the wheel well) So now I decided that I would take it for a test drive. I pulled out of the junk yard and started driving down the road. After a mile a warning light popped up on the dash and since the display was broken I couldnt` make out what it said. I then turned around to head back to tell them about the light. When I was turning around the engine started to smoke so I parked it in the nearest parking lot. They had told me that this vehicle was inspected and that every thing was in great working condition. Obviously this was a complete lie as they couldnt` even get into the engine compartment. Well good luck if you try to deal with this group of liars.

Don`t Get Scammed by Vango Aut...
Don`t Get Scammed by Vango Auto Group! I bought a 2006 Ford F-250 4x4 from Glenn Rhoades via eBay, txawdunlimited was the username on eBay. Glenn assured me that the truck was in mint condition and reassured me that his company was reputable because he had such a good rating on eBay. Glenn then passed me off to his salesman Salvador who completed all of the paperwork and shipped the truck to my house in Phoenix. U... view morepon receiving the truck I noticed that the truck was not as described on eBay and that the engine was making an alarming knocking sound. I took the truck to a local dealership to get checked out and they told me that the truck engine was in bad shape and needed to be overhauled. Also, the odometer had been altered and that I should check the title to confirm. Turns out the truck had over 187,000 miles on it but the odometer and title which had been altered, only read 62,426 miles upon delivery. I did some research and found a court document that revealed some very interesting information regarding Vango Auto Group`s reputation. Here is the url of the Court of Appeals PDF document regarding Glenn Rhoades and a similar case. Copy/Paste the url into your web browser. http://www.2ndcoa.courts.state.tx.us/opinions/PDFOpinion.asp?OpinionId=21381 Long story short, Salvador Guzman no longer works at Vango Auto Group because Glenn let him go due to Sal not returning any of my calls or helping me in the slightest bit. However, Glenn is not much better and has never returned any of my calls either, and he is the owner! I am currently awaiting a court date to charge Vango Auto Group with fraudulent charges. Save yourself the trouble and do not deal with Vango Auto Group whatsoever, there are plenty of other good vehicles out there!

Don`t be their next sucker!
I purchased a 2007 Dodge Ram Mega cab 4x4 from these guys in 2009. When asked if there issues with this truck, the answer was NO. Carfax turned up nothing interesting. I put 14,500 miles on this truck and decide to trade for another truck. After the trade, I get a phone call from the dealer I traded with. He tells me this truck was restricted by Dodge for warranty work. The original owner quit making payments and rep... view moreossession ensued. This idiot poured water in the fuel tank ruining the motor. After an engine rebuild, auction, lawsuits and loss of any further warranty , Vango sells me the truck without disclosing any of this. My recommendation is buy a certified used vehicle from a reputable dealer and stay away these snakes! Caveat emptor- buyer beware!

Buyer Beware
bought a 2004 Dodge Ram advertised on Ebay as being in excellent condition. Before buying the truck I spoke to one of the owners and he assured me the truck was in excellent shape, except for a few minor body dings, and had undergone a full mechanical inspection. He said the truck would pass any inspection required to import it into Canada. The company had 100% positive Ebay feedback and are a Powerseller, so I belie... view moreved him and did not get a mechanical inspection done before buying. Big mistake!! Drove the truck home (about 2500 miles) and took it for an inspection. It had a cracked transmission housing, both upper and lower ball joints nedded replacing, as did the tie rod ends and the front stabilizer links. The front rotors were shot and so was the right front wheel bearing. The right rear brake caliper was missing parts. The wheel nuts had been torqued on so tightly that they had to use a 3/4 inch drive impact wrench to remove them, destroying them in the process. Although both the Carfax and Autocheck report indicated no accidents, a lot of Bondo had been used for repairs for something. When I called Glenn to see if he was prepared to help pay for the necessary repairs, he told me the truck was in excellent shape when they checked it and those parts had simply worn out on my drive home. He also suggested I get the warranty company (thankfully I paid extra for a warranty) to cover the costs. He said they could never prove those repairs were required when I bought the truck so they should pay for them. I would advise anyone considering buying from Vango Auto Group to make sure you get an independant inspection done on the vehicle before you buy it.
