Sorry Steens, you messed up this time.

I took my car in for a windshield at 8:00 a.m. last Friday. David told me it would be ready by noon. He said the windshield would be installed and the glue dry by then. My son needed to go out of town. I specifically asked if the windshield was in stock. The girl said, ""Yes, it is."" (if she had said, ""No,"" I would not have left the car). I gave her two phone numbers. I returned at noon. Much to my surprise... view more they told me they don`t have a windshield ""yet"" and it would be ""just"" 30 minutes. I came unglued. I said, ""You told me it was in stock."" Why didn`t you CALL ME? David KNEW I had to have it by noon. No one answered. Then I heard Connie, David`s wife. I asked her and she turned around and yelled at me, ""WAIT JUST A MINUTE! i`M TRYING TO FIND OUT!"" Then she said, ""They told me they didn`t tell you that!"" Well, the girls lied! I asked several times why nobody called me. I was ignored. Then I asked to talk to David. The girl said he was, ""on the phone."" I opened the door to his office and he wasn`t on the phone. I asked him why he told me the windshield was in stock. He said, ""Talk to the girls."" I said, ""No, YOU are the one who told me it would be ready by noon and YOU are the owner! YOU deal with it! He again said to ask the girls and he turned his back on me and walked away! I then said, ""Put the old windshield back in. I will NEVER come back here and give you my business."" So, the nice workman put my windshield back in. I immediately drove over to Tommy`s Paint and Body. He not only put in a windshield in three hours time, but the cost for the same windshield was $30 less!

The Steen`s behavior toward me was unprofessional and uncalled for. Had I not been lied to by David and the girl at the counter, had Connie not screamed at me, had David dealt with the situation like a MAN instead of turning his back on me, I would probably have just come back another day. But, I DON`T GIVE MY BUSINESS TO PEOPLE THAT DON`T EARN IT!

Steen Glass.....The experts on how you can do their job for them...and you still pay!!! AWESOME!!

I took my Nissan 350Z in for a rock chip to be fixed. I had the car six days, suffered the rock chip when I took it out on the sixth day. It`s my project. I`ve also been sick this whole week, so today (sixth day) was my first real chance to take it out the garage. Suffering a rock chip from an 18 wheeler sucked, but then, that would have been better if I had simply left it chipped. They charged me 38 bucks for t... view morehe service, but I noticed my whole right side of my windshield had scratches in it. Some were very deep, (done by razor blade). For some reason, the man who did the service stated he was ""not working in that area"". The rock chip was on the right side, so he had to have worked in this area. Later, he said ""I washed the winshield off with a rag and cleaner."" When the manager was questioned, she stated that there was ""No way the damage was done by her staff."" She stated she was ""outside the whole time."" Funny. I stayed out there ten minutes with the worker, talking about the 350, how much I got it for, how it was...yada yada, before heading across the street to get something to eat. Never met her, or saw her out there that whole time. Then, the worker states ""It took a long time to do that. Maybe kids, or a wife...."" to my brother who was there. Then, the MANAGER states, ""He`s too immature to have a wife."" This very much offended me because I recently divorced my ex wife, and am just now recovering from financial hardship she caused me. The 350 is my first step in the right direction. THEY screwed it up. In the end, they gave me some jeweler`s powder to fix the scratches up that they claim to have not caused. It worked a little, best on the shallow scratches, which are gone. Those deep ones, are still there...and are always a reminder....that yes, there are people in the world who do not care at all about their customers. Funny, when I showed them the scratch damage, my car still had the 30 day tags in it. Go to Able Glass.
