Con Artist

Mr Sal Badruddin is a professional con artist, he sold us our 2002 Honda Civic, The sign on the Window said "Certified" which gave us further confidence in this car. Right from the start we had problems with the car, there was a noise that wouldn`t go away and he said it was just the belts, We trusted his word because he is from the same faith that we follow, Understanding honesty is mandatory in our religion gave us... view more the false security that he would be honest. Within the first three months we had to replace all of the mounts, and right after the three months was finished, the transmission went bad (we had to have it towed) and right after that the engine went bad) this was during the third month. We purchased the car at 140 K and now it has 150 K.. and we have changed the oil 6 times already. So why would the engine go bad?? Furthermore its a HONDA... I think that speaks for itself that this vehicle was abused before we bought it. We spoke with Sal regarding our concerns, and you know what he said, Its not his problem and we bought the vehicle as is.. so what happened to certified? we were bamboozled. We reported him to the BBB (And he already had complaints) and we also reported him to the Texas Department of Transportation, we are also currently in the process of taking him to court. Now we have paid over 3 thousand dollars in repairs for the vehicle which we paid over 8500 for, when we could have bought a brand new car off the dealers lot. I am very dissapointed and I hope that you will not just look at my story as a revenge incited temper tantrum, but rather an honest warning that you should either not buy from him, or if you do, make absolutely sure that you take the car to a mechanic (firestone is best) to get it thoroughly inspected.. Don`t take his word for ANYTHING.. Good Luck
