Baytown area residents please be advised that if you need transmission work done on your car and you use Wendell`s Transmissions in Baytown......he may or may not honor the warranty! Spent $1580 dollars less than one month ago having a clutch put in and it came with a 12mo/12k mile warranty.....(approx. 900 miles later) while driving home the torque arm came off the transmission. Not knowing the actual cause of all t... view morehe noise, I had it repaired at my local shop to minimize damage. When I inquired about the reimbursement of $147 for the repair due to the fact that torque arm was one of the parts manipulated in Wendell`s repair......... I was met with excuses and major attitude!
