Single mom got the shaft
I went to Randy`s Texaco because I was told they would put my vehicle on the computer and diagnose my problem. Well I explained that my battery was being drained and it had something to do with the radio, and I asked for a tuneup and for freon to be added to truck; I was told I needed an instrument cluster and part would cost $400 plus labor, well I knew of someone that could replace part and install it for less than... view more $300 so I asked Randy`s to go ahead and do tuneup and add freon to vehicle and my cost for thus was a mere $625 and when I picked up my vehicle it was blowing hot air, my power windows were no longer working and my steering column was torn apart. I has instrument cluster replaced but the problem still existed. I had freon added to my truck and found out that Randy`s technician had left trash in the freon port therefore the freon had leaked out, I didn`t dare take my vehicle back since I already put out approximately $900 and they had left me with a bigger mess than I started with. I have since taken my vehicle to Eagle Sound and the problem was fixed for less than $40 and the freon that was added was $20. I spent $625 and almost $300 to replace a part that Randy`s technicians said I needed and the problem was finally fixed for less than $60., I will never take another vehicle to them and I definitely nor recommend them to anyone I know. To be taken like this and then to leave my vehicle torn apart cause their mechanic didn`t feel like "he was being paid for that" is incomprehensible especially since all I actually got was new spark plugs and wires for $625. I had to put steering column back together myself and plug wiring back in to get my windows working. Thanks for the wonderful service you provide, I just hope you don`t treat all your customers this way
