The most pleasant experience I have ever had dealing with any of my vehicles. First off I would like the world to know they have new personel in their dealership and the previous reviews on this business are possibly no longer accurate. They are working to build a staff that they are proud of and i must say they are well on their way! I purchased a Jeep compass from them in 2011 and it started having problems so i... view more brought it in and the service Dept (Shane specifically) did the very best they could do to keep me happy while they worked on it and eventually found that original problems from when the car was built on the assembly line is what was causing the issues. They understood that I could potentially have been screwed over because I still owed 3 years on the car so what they did was purchase it back for the value it was appraised and put me in a chrysler 200 and helped out tremendously with the difference in the prices and more than made up for something that wasn`t their fault to begin with. They had absolutely nothing to do with the car being built and i`m sure at the end of the day they did not make out very well on the sale of the 200 to me. The dealer , The General Manager and Service Dept man Shane (GOD to me) they all made this experience seem like a blessing in disguise when it was all said and done. I almost feel bad that they didn`t make more off the sale of the 200 because they were that kind and understanding and respectful. I will never purchase a car in my life from anywhere else but them. I trust that if any issue ever arises with my 200 or any future purchase that they will do the best to make it right and I trust them 100% to do my routine maintenance and upkeep. My daughter will own cars from them when she is older. Anyone I can persuade to shop with them I will because at the end of the day you can buy a car from any dealer and they will forget about you as soon as the sale is done but I think more than a few people will remember me when I return there in the future. If I won the lottery tomorrow i would pay cash up front at their dealership before I would buy from anywhere else in the State of Texas. That`s a choice i know i would make. Kudos to Shane and the brothers and the General manager and all the staff at Cecil Atkission Burnet!!!

Where can I begin... Honestly,...

Where can I begin... Honestly, until now, I have actually been well treated at other Chrysler dealers throughout the country, especially those in the larger DFW type metro areas. Recently, I moved to Bertram, TX (pop.3,500+) and decided to get my 2007 PT Cruiser serviced at Cecil Atkiisson Motors in Burnet, TX. That`s when my problems began. First off, let me explain that several of my best friends are certified... view more auto mechanics that own their own shops in the Austin, TX area. My wife has been a service writer for them for over 8 years ... and she KNOWS cars. I went to the dealership and asked them to install a new TPS switch. I have an extended bumper to bumper warrenty and asked them to tell me what I owed after my $100 deductable. The service writer said that it would be approximately $125, but he would call to confirm. Several hours later, he gave me the news that I HAD to have new brakes as they were metal on metal, my transmission MUST receive immediate service, and a general tune-up was also needed. He said that he also found a different code (other than the TPS code) and needed to deal with it. I agreed to a new TPS and as a kindness, a transmission service even though I could get it done elsewhare for less than the $184 they charged me. When I picked it up, I was told that I DIDN`T need a TPS switch and that they used $24 worth of cleaner and $100 worth of labor. Problem fixed. I asked to speak with the mechanic and he had "left for the day". On my 20 mile drive home, NOTHING changed. The TPS is faulty and needs to be changed. Check Engine Light is back on. I tried several days to see if it got better ... and of course it didn`t! So, I called the General Manager (who I had met while in the service bay) and explained this all to him. He appologized and said that he would check into this and promised he would fix everythig and get back to me by the end of the day. It is now 2 weeks later and NOTHING! I tried to call and his receptionist said that he was out and didn`t know when he might be back. So, it seems I have been lied to, cheated and stolen from! As an aside, this last weekend I had one of my mechanic friends change my brakes and he said that I still had at least 20% left ... NO metal on metal ... darn, lied to again

I would not recommend anyone taking their vehicle to this one. They did not know I was sitting outside on the bench around the corner and I heard a real loud rev of an engine and then some wheels squealing and looked of course and it was my freakin car. The mechanic TIM DURKIN is still employed with them. He did work at the Ford place in MFalls. Be careful and he needs to be watched. It was so disrespectful and not p... view morerofessional at all. He went tearing thru the parking lot to the back of the building in MY CAR. What an A Hole. I will never go there again. Or buy a vehicle from them again.
