baaaaad service!!!
i was not given any service that made me feel like i even mattered. They didnt have anything that i was looking for. I was looking to buy rims cash and when i looked through all there magazines and saw some great ones. None of my first choices were available. why even have a stupid magazine if you cant even get whats inside it. then i was showed some rims i thought looked cool, i was told i would get a 5 year warrant... view morey. ok i thought good deal. i told them it didnt show the warranty on my reciept. i was told it didnt have to all i needed was my reciept, ok no big deal it has all the information i need on it. well when one of my screws came off of my rim i went back to get one. sorry but we dont have it, order it right? nope i was okay with buying it my self. he sent me to home depot. i looked everywhere for it.. no luck. long wait, pointless rim shopping bad service. not very helpfull at all. i cant even get the black paint color back on my rim when i was told i would be able to. lies, lies and a pointless warranty.
Dont go there drive buy it at high speed and dont waste your time!!

Tri-W has been great!
I?m a customer of Tri-W but I?m not otherwise related to anyone at Tri-W personally or professionally. I?ve bought tires from Discount Tires, NTW, and a few other places in the San Antonio-San Marcos area during the last 34 years. Now I go only to Tri-W?because of the service.
Before the sale, they determine exactly which tires best suit my car, my driving style and my budget. After the sale, they fix my flats ... view morequickly?no charge, no hassle. They?ve been friendly and professional to me and (more importantly) to my wife when we?ve needed their services.
CanyonLaker: For quickest service, you might phone ahead of time and visit Tri-W during the week to avoid longer lines on Saturdays.
Chariotboy: Note that Discount Tires had something to gain (your business) and nothing to lose when they bad-mouthed Tri-W about your ??shredded?? tire. Ask Discount Tires how much credit they give for a shredded tire if you do not pay extra for ??road hazard?? insurance.
CKCABC: To jump your dead battery would leave TriW open to considerable liability:
- If your alternator was the problem, you might believe (rightly or wrongly) that jumping the car ruined the alternator.
- Also, most cars now have may solid-state devices that can be damaged by jumping the battery?even when ??jumping?? is done properly.
- Furthermore, if you were waiting for new tires, you probably would complain if a ??tire shop?? made you wait while they ??worked on some guy?s car??.

Worst Tire Place in Town
I was very disatisfied with the service here. The wait was well over an hour and a half. The tires here were not any cheaper than any other store in town. The problem they have, so the ""Manager"" tells me is they have to keep a small staff to keep prices down. I would say this is not true seeing how the wait was the same as discount tire and the prices were the same, knowing this now I would have went elsewhere. The... view more employees run around like 5 year olds. When someone starts to jack your car up, watch thier face. You will see a look of confusion when it comes time to take off the hubcaps. If the tech is confused at this point, do you really trust him to install tires on a vehicle you and your family will be riding in?

No Integrity
The owner didn`t allow any credit on a ""top of the line"" Michelin Radial truck tire. He said it was ""shredded due to a road hazard, even though he said he couldn`t find any evidence of it. He charged me full retail (I know because I went straight to Discount Tire and their guys checked the ""tire remains"". They couldn`t believe ""The Tire Man"" did not allow ANY credit on the tire, either. I went back to tell Mar... view morek (the owner) that I thought he should have been more fair on the deal, since no one could find any evidence of a road hazard. He walked off, and as I was leaving he yelled at me from the back of the shop gesturing with his hand.
Here`s the thing.....The tire blew out on my wife at midnight on a rural road outside of town. She managed to get the truck stopped, but had to call me to come get her. Thank goodness she was safe.
This guy has a small, independently owned business in a small town. I have purchased several sets of tires from him in the past and the service was great. He had to change the tire himself today because he has no employees. From the other review and now my extremely bad experience, I KNOW WHY!! Go anywhere but there to get any tire related service.
