Sorry Service
I Had 2 Mercurys and 1 Lincoln, in the pas 2 years I had spent over $20,000, in repairs ($8000) under warenty and the rest I paid out of pocket. 1 Of my Mercurys I took back 3 different times for the same proplem of the Check engine light coming on (this was in a 4 month time), each time they said it was something different and cost , $200, $400 AND $550,My Lincoln I had to have the AC worked on, first time had to r... view moreeplace Compresser, next time auto control switch , next time condenser, next time modulator control valve, each time I took it in it acted the same although they said something else was wrong every time, total cost of all these came to just under $4000, the last time I took it in after looking thru all my receipts I discovered they charged me double for brake flushing, in less than 1000 miles and 4 months, I als found a note where on one of the write ups they wrote that there was a linkage broke on the steering and needed to be repaired, I was never informed about this. So when I took the car back (for the forth time on the AC), I informed the service manager of the double charging, and the note of something broke on the steering, and that I was giving them the chance to make things right, and win my trust back, by fixing the AC, giving me a refund of the double charge and fix whatever was wrong with the steering. When I was called that the car was ready, they said there was a faulty valve on the AC, that the refund of the double charge would almost cover, and nothing was wrong with the steering. Well in my opinion I should not have been charged for the AC valve because after $4000 it should have been all new any way, so they did not completely win my trust.
Exactly one month later (280 miles), the AC did the exact same thing it always did, I did not take it back To Pavilion, I took it to the mechanic I had used before, ( for almost 10 years), It was another 12 miles from my house but I trusted them. They replaced a faulty Valve, ($68) said that none had been replaced before they were all original, replaced a bad ball joint on the steering, now 3 months later I still have AC and the car drives great, I will never go back to Pavilion and no one else should either.

PPffftttttttttt
This was a long time ago, but you peeps are not going to believe this. I am getting all pi/sed off just thinking about it, and it was 10 years ago!

Check it out: so I take my car here to get completely repainted (it was a place my insurance sent me to). I arrive to pick up my car after it had been repainted and there were flecks of black adhesive stuck underneath the clear coat on one of the doors. I point... view moreed it out to the guy (I so wish I could remember his b/tch a/s name) and he told me it was part of the repainted ""look"". I promptly went to the other door and poof - no flecks of black adhesive. So I asked him ""why then is this door not like the other door if that`s the case?"" The guy literally began screaming at me so loud that people car shopping were staring. I won the screaming match and the f/cker repainted the door - like it or not B/TCH.

Bad Attitudes are Contagious
I recently saw that lincoln had really good rebates on their trucks. I decided I wanted one. I knew the color and options I wanted, and I knew the price, based on published information from Lincoln.

First off, Pavillion was very difficult to make contact with. AT&T doesnt even have a listing for them in directory assistance.

It took no less tha 3 phone calls to get a sales person on the phone.

I ... view morecalled Pavillion, told them what I wanted buy, and asked when they could have it ready. I told them I wanted a black Lincoln truck, and that I had seen the offer buy Lincoln. The sales person told me that although he had a black one, he could not offer the rebate on it. He said he could give me the rebate on a blue one though.

(now come on..... Rebates are not color specific...)

Needless to say, I used the internet, found what I was looking for in Houstoun at Northwood Lincoln Mercury, flew to Houston, the sales person picked me up at the airport and I bought what I wanted, and got the rebate that was offered.

I have never been treated so rudely in all of my life, by so many people in one location.

The parts guy trying to sell me accessories 20% over msrp, because I didnt buy my truck from him was only the start.

Charlie the service writer who (very rudely) told me that my front end on the truck was shaking because it had a flat spot on the tire. (he never even looked at it) He further told me to drive it for a couple of thousand miles and it would fix itself. Needless to say it didnt.

I have been back to the service department 3 times to date, and so far my truck has yet to be looked at by a mechanic, or even driven by any of their employees. Nothing has bee done to fix any of the problems with my truck, and I have now taken it to my private mechanic, as there are no other Lincoln dealers in Austin.

Before you buy, from anyone, take a look at how busy the dealer is. If they are not busy, there is probebly a reason. Go somewhere else.

These guys let the car sell itself
Chris and Drew are great. My wife, my young son, and I spent the day with them trying to come together on a 2 car deal. Even though we decided to not buy, these guys were great. Will definately be back to see them when we do buy.
