Go here if you like waiting
One word describes this place. SLOW!!!!!!! I don`t know why I`ve been there multiple times but my most recent time was the LAST time I`ll go back. I`ve been there for multiple oil changes and to buy 2 tires. The oil changes take FOREVER! If you have a one hour lunch break, there is no way lambs will have it done. Many other places can do an oil change during the lunch rush in under an hour. Lambs cannot. Many time t... view morehey take over an hour just to get your car in the garage. They give excuses such as `oh it`s lunch break so my guys are gone` No they`re not, they`re sitting right there smoking. But this isn`t just lunch breaks, weekends, weekdays, anytime. It WILL be slow.
I went to lambs because I thought they would have good tire prices. They don`t. Discount Tires blows Lambs prices out of the water. AND it WONT take an hour for them to pull your car in.
I would not recommend going here for oil changes or tires. I can`t comment on other automotive repairs, but from the group of people in the wait room.. it doesn`t look like being efficient is a priority.

Rip OFF
I`ve got a sweet little Buick, 15 y/o with 40,000 miles. Twice a year, I make a 600 mile trip. I took it to Lamb`s to get the inspection sticker and make sure everything`s good. I never get out of there for under $1000 bucks. Yesterday, the `need to do` estimate was over $2000 (and they just saw this car 11 months and 2000 miles ago). They gave me a `generous` triple A discount (and, I suspect, their special single w... view moreoman treatment). Run. I got a recommendation from a trusted friend, and this local shop is doing everything on the list for less than half Lamb`s price with a year`s warranty. Other places to never go for anything to do with your car: Pep Boys, Goodyear, Jiffy Lube, Sears, Walmart, or a car dealer. And, pop that hood and let a friend tell you about everything under it. Know your fluids and how to check them and refill them yourselves (you don`t have to get married, Darlin`). When your battery won`t hold a charge, know what an alternator is. Betcha Lambs ain`t gonna frame this review and hang it on their dang wall.

Best Service I Ever Got
I just recently moved near this Lamb`s location. I was going to the one closest to my old house in Round Rock. When I found out about this convenient location I was very happy. I only take my vehicles to Lamb`s because of the great service. They are quick and painless, and their staff is very pleasant to be around.

Go Lamb`s
I recenty bought new tires from Lamb`s. And then I got a flat. All these nails from too many roofers around from the hail storm last May. I took it back in to Lamb`s expecting them to charge me - no charge - free. And the best part: they did it in 10 minutes. That was awesome. Lamb`s really took care of me.

Don`t trust these guys, and they`ll nickle and dime you to death.
I took in my daughter`s car for oil change, using the coupon on the back of a grocery receipt. First they tried to add on a ""shop charge"" on an oil change! I got that knocked off, but then they added in a extra $1 because they used a different oil grade, without asking me ahead of time. Nickel and dime stuff, sure, but you`d think they`d know better since I`m the kind of customer who`d use a coupon. To top if o... view moreff they told me I was down to 10% pad on both back and front brakes. I declined their offer to do the brakes and took it to Brake Specialist. They told me the rear had 60% pads left. Somebody`s lying or incompetent. Guess who. This experience with Lambs is consistent with other experiences I`ve had with them over the years. Avoid these guys and do not trust anything they tell you.

Read this and you WILL avoid Lambs
We recently bought 4 minivan tires with road hazard warranty through Lamb`s thinking it would cover us if something happened to one of the tires...wrong. My wife had a gash in one of the tires so she took it to good ole Lambs where they told her ""Everything will be fine! Ill bet you`re glad you got the road hazard warranty?"" The guy went on to tell her not to worry and everything will be taken care of. When I ... view morewent to pick up the MINIVAN with stock rims (nothing special) the guy again said how fortunate I was to have the ""Road Hazard Warranty"". Then he proceeded to check me out saying there were some ""small fees"". At that point he charged me $64 which included another charge for Road Hazard. WOW! I sure was glad to have the ""Warranty""!
""Best in Austin for customer satisfaction"" - Here is a lie from the Lambs website. Everyone i`ve told this story to has laughed at me for even trying Lambs! Still waiting to hear something positive. I hope you are reading this BEFORE going to Lambs.
