Bad Service, Bad Experience, Stay Away!!!
I was thoroughly dissappointed with my experience at Lamb`s Automotive in Georgetown. I am not automobile savvy as I don`t know a headlight from my own tailight. The manager at Lamb`s took full advantage of this fact and proceeded to sell me multiple items and services that were unneccessary. I went in for a basic oil change and ended with a bill for $250 worth of service that was only required to pad the margins of ... view morethe auto shop. DO NOT GO TO LAMB""S AUTOMOTIVE, they will prey on unsuspecting car owners as a lion to a lamb.

Nice Place
I had take all three of our old cars here and I thought they were so nice and understanding even though it was a challenge to get everything fixed. They did a great job and they are nice people.

Good place to go
I went to here to the N Bell location and was very suprised at how good the service was. The guys that work there are very knowledgable and professional. I would suggest this place to my friends.

Excellent service
My husband and I were heading out when we realized that the a/c was not working in our car. We went to lambs right before their closing time, but the staff over here went out of there way to get our car fixed. We were impressed.!

Satisfied Customer
I had never been to Lamb`s before ( I was actually avoiding it) until I recently took my car to the Georgetown location. Unsure of to expect, Lamb`s turned me into a believer with friendly and helpful employees. They were very timely and not over-priced. Usually I don`t go back to an auto shop once I`ve tried it because the experience is never pleasant, but I can honestly say that I will be going back to Lamb`s.

Happy Ending
I came into a Lamb`s in Pflugervile completely distressed by some noises coming from my car. I was greeted by a very kind Service Advisor who having a hard time understanding my problem. Since I am a woman and have no idea what I am talking about, he asked an auto technician to take a short drive with me so that he could figure out what sound I was talking about. I was so impressed that they took the time to do this ... view moreand were so polite the whole time. When I got my car back, the problem was taken care of. Such great service!

Good service
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the customer service we received from Lambs brush creek location in Round Rock. Not only did we get a ride back home but en route when we asked for a stop at a fast food place, they were no questions asked. And we had no issues with our car once we got it from the servicing center. Overall our experience was gud.

Cheats
I took my car in for an alignment and they told me all four of tires and struts were shot and that it wasn`t safe to drive on them. They wanted $3000. I didn`t believe them and the guy told me that well, I could just do the front ones. That seemed so suspicious to me that I immediately took my car to another mechanic. He said the odds of all four struts going out at once were astronomical and my tires were just f... view moreine. This was the last straw with them, they used to be really honest, but now they are crooks. Prior to this they told me I needed something else for $3K - that must be the magic number for them.

don`t go there
I took my vehicle in 3 times, every time, work had to be done that they found, even though it was unrelated to the presenting problem. i had them complete the recommended repairs, but it cost me 3 times what the original presenting problem was quoted. on the third visit, i needed my odometer replaced, but according to Lamb`s, i needed a new radiator, a new drive belt, (true), a new master brake cylinder. the origi... view morenal quote was tripled for the additional work. i said no, paid $95.00 for their analysis and i will never go back. the master cylinder is fine, nothing wrong with the radiator, and the belt has been replaced. they wanted $118 for the belt and replacement. it was done for $30.

Incompetent : Overcharged and damaged my car
I took my car for the first time(and it will be the last) to Lambs Automotive on Bee Cave for a oil change after i got a coupon behind a HEB receipt. Went in twice and wait times were 3-4 hours each time, so decided to come in later and thought they must be good if they are so busy. Third time went in early morning 7:10am, still had to wait an hour. After the oil change drove 15 miles round trip and then car was idli... view moreng, so got hot. Suddenly coolant started overflowing. Switched off car and tried to open the hood but hood would not open! Lambs had broken the cable release. I was 1 mile away from Lambs so drove it in. Made me wait an hour. They opened the hood and found that the coolant tank cap was cross threaded/crooked, so it did not seal when tightened. I asked them to fill coolant and screw the cap on properly. Said they did not break the cable release and it would cost $150 for labor alone to repair it, parts extra. I politely declined. Later after i got back home, i decided to take a look under the hood. To my surprise the coolant cap was still not screwed on properly. Fixed that and then took a look at the cable release. It will take me about half an hour to do tops. It is very straightforward. Also i cannot see any remnants of the old cable(if at all it had snapped). Now i am suspect that Lambs released the cable from the place where it was attached and the cable did not break after all. Unluckily i cannot push the cable back to see if the length is ok. Will never visit Lambs again and warn every person out there to not go there. My oil change also cost me $25 (with $18 coupon), at another shop nearby it is $27 (with $24 coupon). Markup from coupon in shop supplies/disposal fee is also a ripoff.
