I have been using John Rezek`s Superior Automotive shop for my vehicle since I bought it in 1994. Yes! 1994. My engine just turned over 350,000 miles and finally needed a new one. John and his group have kept all of our family`s vehicles going over the years. We found him on the recommendation of a friend who was a 18-wheeler truck driver and also a person who *knows* cars.

Although I work near the Galleri... view morea, and live near ClearLake, I just won`t take my vehicle to anyone else, unless I am in a bind. Because, in the end, John has always been honest, knows more than a thing or two about cars, and (as shown by my engine) can keep a good vehicle going! I figure if I had taken just a little bit better care of my vehicle it may have even made 400,000 miles.

The new re-built engine he put in this past week is running like a charm and came with all the bells and whistles including belts, hoses, waterpump, etc. So, we`re on our way to another 10 years or so of driving.

Why buy a new car when I`ve got a great one right here and an even better mechanic to boot?!?
