Reviews:

They like to save you money through smart preventive care. Respectful. Honest. Edin and Amela are so passionate about automotive work, they`ll educate you on paper (draw a diagram, write a list of the parts in question on a legal pad) and then point out the actual parts in your car, show you an old part and a new one, explain how the pieces work or why the fluid needs to be replaced and in what time frame. They ev... view moreen helped me get compensation from a different auto repair place that had used an incorrect bolt on one of my struts. They stand behind their work with old-fashioned ethics & integrity. You`ll feel like you have dear friends or family members working on your car, who really care. They work on transmissions and did my 100K mile tuneup. They also do jobs as small as an oil change, but it`s the kind of oil change where they check your alignment & tire pressure & fluid levels and inform you if anything needs attention. They`re kind & humane. They`ll offer help with logistics, like taking you to work or driving your second vehicle to wherever you need it.

Pampered Auto Care = AWESOME!
Simply put my car was working and then it was not. I was on my way through Austin on 4/16 and while trying to access the toll road my car just stopped. Luckily, I was able to pull over on the access road where a woman stopped and suggested Pampered Auto Care. She said ""I hear they do great work"". I called and Steve made sure I had a tow truck on the way so I could continue on my trip after picking up a rental c... view morear. Long story short I had some major repairs and of course being away from home did not help things. Their team was responsive, they kept me up-to-date on where they were on repairs with my Xterra and most importantly they were easy to deal with. Overall it was a fabulous experience when my car situation was not good. I drove my car home to Fort Worth from Austin confident it was running like they said it would. Thanks Pampered Auto!

The 1431 location is where my car gets Pampered!
I met Edin a couple of years ago when my check engine light came on in my Audi A6. I don`t even think his shop was open but he was there working on a vehicle. He was kind enough to run the diagnostics for me so I could rest assured driving with the light on wouldn`t kill my car over the weekend. After that first repair I was impressed enough to bring my ""service list"" that Audi had given me. Edin actually laughed a... view moret it. He grabbed a pen and started slashing through prices and x`ing out items that were not truly necessary. WOW. I have since referred a few friends their way and ironically my buddy at Dell tried to refer them to me as well. 3 thumbs up.

3 for 3
The waterpump started leaking in my 2002 Escalade which was diagnosed at my local Firestone when I was getting tires replaced. After receiving a quote of over $550 to replace it, I contacted Pampered Auto Care in Cedar Park for a quote. PAC was over $160 cheaper - plus the parts were AC Delco and fully warrantied. I have been needing a new fuel pump and rear brakes for ages and Pampered came in with the lowest q... view moreuote, but best warranty and again, AC Delco parts. $400 cheaper on average. I could not be happier with the service at both locations. These guys are honest, friendly, and best of all, perform quality work. Thanks very much.

Not Good
I took my Lexus GS300 for 100K check up. They did not do a good job. After couple of days, i started having with my car. When i took it back, they denied it their fault. When my car was working perfectly fine last week and now with my 100K check, it has started giving problems. If you find a better one, avoid these guys

honest and very helpful
My 2005 MINI Cooper`s warranty expired several months ago so I took a chance on the Pampered auto. It`s the best decision I`ve ever made for my car, and my bank account! The first time I took it in for a warranty inspection and they found several issues that I was able to get fixed at the dealer before it expired. They could have just waited and done the work themselves, but they were too honest for that. I`ve gone b... view moreack since for major service, a power steering hose replacement, and some front end work. Their work is excellent, their prices are very reasonable, and their service is very friendly and personable. I wouldn`t take my car anywhere else!

great place for car repair
We bought a BMW over a year ago and it has been such a nightmare for us! I don`t think we ever had a good experience with mechanics anywhere. They all seem to want you to fix all these ""problems"" .So the last time we took our car to this one shop in south Austin, they fixed a minor problem that we had with the car, but somehow they ended up busting something else. After we picked our car up, two days later it liter... view moreally started to smoke! the smoke really scared the **** out of us. I mean we just got our car fixed for crying out loud!! We had to take it to the nearest auto shop, I don`t remember the name, but it turned out that we were leaking antifreeze and it was evaporating and that`s what caused the smoking effect, no it`s not the same kind of smoke from a fire, but I can assure you, if you see that while driving, your heart would definitely drop to your pants. Needless to say I am cautious of taking our car anywhere. Now we`re stuck with this antifreeze problem. After doing some research online we thought we were going to take it to L&M auto, which is so popular and they get such good reviews, so we called Bill and he said he was going to charge us $40 just to look at the car without even diagnosing any problems. That , to me seems pretty absurd. I mean if you just want to throw away money that`s fine, but I think if I`m spending 40 bucks I better get something out of it. So we started shopping around and that`s when I decided to give Pampered auto a try. I came in with skepticism of course, but to my surprise, Ed was very courteous. He showed me all the problems with the car and explained everything thoroughly. He tightened a couple of things and told me that should stop the leak, but if not, then I should come back. He sent me home without charging me anything! Now that`s an honest mechanic. So far so good, I just hope that this thing stop leaking, but if not, then I would definitely take it back to Pampered Auto Care. Thank you

Great Mechanics!
I have a 2002 Audi TT Roadster that has had chronic problems, especially regarding the suspension, practically since the day it was brought home. My family and I became suspicious that Momentum Audi in Houston was not performing the work they said they were about 4 years after we bought it. I found Pampered Auto Care in August of 2008, after a previous mechanic in Houston had forgotten to turn the reminder ligh... view moret off after one of the integral services. Pampered Auto Care didn`t charge me anything for that so I decided to give them another shot when I needed more work done. It turns out that that same previous mechanic had also forgotten to bolt on the driver`s side sway bar after installing new struts, which had led to, among other things, that new left strut breaking. My mechanic Steve, who is their VW/Audi specialist, helped recommend a custom panzer plate (because the stock one was made of cheap plastic that did not protect the bottom of the car, and has led most TT drivers to experience a broken oil pan or two) from some custom part makers who he had worked with previously to design some jetta short-shifters. Steve also did a custom install for me, on the spur of the moment around the holidays (because I only have one vehicle and can`t afford to be without my car for too long), of some Koni Adjustable Yellows, Eibach springs, and specially made rear control arms. The car rides like a dream now; probably better that the day it was first brought home, and my TT is up for the daily challenges I put it through! The prices always seem fair and reasonable, and Mark will call around to various parts suppliers trying to find you the best deal he can. There are never any surprises on how much things will cost...the estimates are always right on. If you have questions, the mechs will explain everything in layman`s terms, and will even take you out into the garage to show you what`s up. If you feel like you are getting jerked around by your dealer`s garage, be it anything from Ford and GM to Mercedes and BMW, I highly recommend Pampered Auto Care. I always talk other customers in the waiting room who have nothing but good things to say about this business, and I`m sure they will be able and willing to help you with whatever car problem you might have!

Great Work, Great Price
I have taken my two Mercedes there for about four years now for all my service needs. They have always fixed what what I asked them to fix, without pushing additional work and with no residual problems. The Mercedes stealership has always returned my cars with unfinished work or additional problems I had not noticed. This has never happened to me at Pampered. The rates for labor are the best I have found (yes, I cont... view moreinue to check around just in case). They have even stayed open late, just for me to run across town and get a part without which my other car would have been stranded. I highly recommend these guys. Ed and the guys will explain exactly what you need and why.
