Be WEAR, you get what you pay for!!! I got a coupon on Groupon for an alignment took it to the South location and had my car damaged by an incompetent driver. They insist that it did not happen at there location but I know it did. They refuse to show me the video for that day even though I called them out on it on the same day. It took over a week for Jonathan to get with the powers that be to "make things right... view more for me" he also asked me to not write a negative review on them. I was told by Jonathan to take my car to the 41st Street Location to get an estimate, where I spoke to Allen, who to date has not called me to let me know what the decision was regarding fixing my car, he is always not in or busy. I however have been in contact with Roland who presented him self to be a manager but who has no customer service skills and is always giving me attitude. He stated that they are willing to fix my car "patch up the scratches if you will" but will not pay for a rental because quote: they didn`t cause the damage. Word of advice if you are going to trust your property to any business make sure you take before and after pictures and have them log in any noticeable damage is present.

Be sure and check your oil afterwards if you go there for an oil change, or better yet just don`t go there. Went to Guadalupe store and the older sandy haired man was extremely rude and hateful. The young black man, Brandon store manager, was there and did nothing even though he witnessed it. Was first customer and it took 15 minutes. As I left I realized he put the wrong weight oil in, not the weight I specificall... view morey asked for three times. So I call to complain about his rudeness and the wrong oil, and the manager at Lamar site gave me Jim( general managers) number. After several attempts he finally he called me two days later, said he had already received two complaints on that guy and he did not put up with that and that the man would not be there after today. He also comps me two more oil changes. A few days later I go to the tLamar store and the guy that was switching out the oil looks confused and tells me that they never changed my oil or filter. cover blown. I call Jim back and tell him the oil was not changed at all, he acts upset and says he will take care of that immediately. Fast fwd three weeks and I am across from the Guadalupe store and who do I see but the same two guys working there. Hmmm. Running the same scam I guess. Jiffy lube did the same thing and got caught on hidden camera in the 80`s by a national news program. I will be returning my two comp oil changes to Jim and will never visit any one of his stores again. I advise others to beware, the staff from top to bottom obviously have no manners or integrity.

HORRIBLE

This place is horrible! I went in for an oil change and was told by one of the workers that they were full, but that I could make an appointment for the next day. So I did, and returned the next day for my appointment. I showed up about twenty minutes early, and as soon as i walked in, i was immediately told that they were full and no longer doing oil changes. I told the guy I had made an appointment for that day and... view more yet he still tried tp deny me. Finally he asks my name, goes to his computer, glances at it very quickly, and tells me I have no appointment. That I`m not in their system. So after more arguing he tells me that they would do the oil change, but that I`d have to wait longer. I agreed to wait. They finally took my car in and changed the oil. The next morning on my way to work, my oil light came on, and my car started to decelerate. It turns out they put the oil filter on incorrectly, and it flew off while i was driving, and I lost all the oil. Luckily a cop came to help me. Called in for a tow truck to get my car off the highway. I called the shop as soon as they opened and told them what happened. They had it towed back to the shop, and fixed and cleaned it up. This whole experience was in no way worth the free groupon.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!

I just took my car in for an oil change. They told me I had an oil leak and a coolant leak and that the repair would cost $1,100. I thought that was a bit steep so I got a second opinion from Manny`s Automotive on 413 Tillery and their estimate was $465!!!! That`s a $635 difference!! Unethical quote

Tookmother`s 2000 Caravan in for alignmment. We are visiting. Quoted 72.93 for 4 wheel alignment. Had been quoted by several close competitors $59.95 for 2 wheels and $89.95 for 4 wheels. When received car was told can only do a 2 wheel job on this car due to solid wrong axel...Asked for a 2 wheel price. Was told stil 72.93 even though only 2 wheel. Friendly atmosphere

My fiancee`s car was due for a timing belt, I took it to two other local shops before stopping by Groovy at their north Lamar location. After spending some time talking with their technician Jerimy I felt confident they knew what they were doing. saved me alot of money

my 1998 jeep cherokee was in need of a new on board computer. took it to the dealer and got what i felt was an extremely over priced quote. Long story short about a month later after not having the repairs made at the dealer. not just another automotive repair shop

this place is great! i have used Groovy a few times and the repairs made to my Honda by Moon have always been right on. Moon has helped me keep my old car running great. I have had some concerns with the prices in the past but after checking around i have found Groovy to be comparable when comparing the whole package. Groovy rocks they have my business.
