BEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP IN LOCKHART

Ignore the previous posting. This lady was rude and disrespectful herself. I heard about the incident, and I am a customer of Mike`s for many years. Mike is THE GO TO GUY for transmissions in Lockhart and the surrounding area. He is not a tire man. Also the shop has longevity, and a top reputation for automotive work, -- they are not tire changers. The reviewer completely lied about the police and about other harrassment reports. Ask anyone in Lockhart where to take your car and about Mike, who is considered to be the best in his field.

DONT GO HERE!

I had my car towed to this shop and Mike informed me that he would not charge us for him to just look at the vehicle. Mike also informed us that we could bring in new tires and he would install them for $7.50/per tire. After Mike changed his mind at the last minute he ended up charging us $37.50 to just tell us what was wrong, and would not install new tires unless we bought them from him. After arriving to Mike`s sh... view moreop to pick up the car so that we could take it to a Tire Shop for a less expensive price, I confronted Mike about his false promises. Mike responded with ""Get the F%$# out of my shop"" and ""Take your piece of S$%@ with you."" He also said to my mother ""Get the F#$@ out you ugly old B#$%!"" I think everyone needs to be warned about this more than awful experience. Mike also pushed the receipt in my moms face and as a result of that we filed a police report against him. BE CAUTIOUS! We are not from Lockhart, TX so we did not have any idea as to how disrespectful Mike was. It wasn`t until the Police Officer that we filed the claim with informed us that he has had numerous claims filed against him for harassment. DON`T GO TO THIS SHOP!!!

overcharges and doesnt do professional job

I had a price quoted to me and when it came time to pay for the services it was half done and the cost was more than the quote - they charged per rivet and were proud they used 8 per panel when it still was not flush with existing metal with a gap of 1/4 inch to allow water to get between. Not a professional job - I had to finish the job myself at my house.
