DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE. Kwik Kar flushed my power steering and it has been leaking ever since. I have NEVER had any problems with the power steering before and the only reason I had it flushed is because the Tech recommended it when I was there getting the oil changed. He showed me the color of the fluid, it was a dark pink and the cost was around $70 dollars.
Few days later went on a trip and had... view more to take the vehicle to a local garage because the power steering fluid was leaking out. According to the Tech at the garage the o-ring was bad and a seasoned mechanic would have known to replace the o-ring when service was done at Kwik Kar. So $75 dollars later and leak still not fixed.
Took the vehicle back to Kwik Kar and told the manager I want to know why the power steering fluid keeps leaking out after one of his Techs worked on it. After looking over the system he informed me that the hydraulic hose is leaking and it needed to be replaced. Again I asked him why it started leaking after one of his Techs worked on it and he basically said because of the gunk build up that was probably sealing the hole. He quoted $251.59 to replace the hose, labor and replacing the power steering fluid. Can you believe that, he did not even offer a discount and charging for more power steering fluid.
I really think Kwik Kar sabotaged my vehicle. Who knows maybe one of the Techs that flushed the system punctured the hose, either by mistake or on purpose.
