VERY HAPPY!
We had two of our cars worked on by Cambridge, and were extremely happy with their work. Pricing was fair and the work was done in an efficient manner. We will definitely use them again.

Ethanol Question
Steve; Ive been wanting to ask you guys a question thats been eating at me, for 2 yrs now or since the Gov`t decided to put alcohol in the gas, I started to add a little Marvel mystery oil in it also, will that hurt the motor, I mix it for my tractors, mowers and Gold Wing and my trucks and cars, were seeing alot of problems around here with fuel pumps and sending units going bad, and its tearing up older motors in d... view moreiesel trucks, do you think they designed it to do that, getting the older vehicles off the road , Ya know cash for clunkers went over so well, I don`t trust the Gov`t. after 28 yrs in it. Another car show I listen to out of Orlando he said yesterday on the show to mix 1oz. to every 5 gal of Amzoil 100-1 synthetic 2 stroke outboard oil ,because that will mix with the alcohol , this may be something you can get your R&D Team on,after all you are the experts, thats why I never miss a show , except when KTSA stream is down , which here lately it is quite a bit. Thanks Steve.

Question about my Car
Hey Guys. This is not really a review as it is a question.
You can look me up and see that my family and I have been doing business with y`all for years. Always top notch service and results. Now the question.
I have a modified Model A Ford. Original 4 cylinder block with an overhead valve conversion. The problem seems to be the carburation. In order to run the car, I have the close the choke 1/2 to 3/4 of the w... view moreay. If I open the choke, the car spits, sputters, backfires, runs like %$#%*&. The carb. is a weber 2bbl downdraft. It ran fine for about a year, then the trouble began. I`ve cleaned it (got some junk out), but it hasn`t helped much. Seems to me that I might be ""leaking air"" somewhere. I did hook up a vacuum windshield wiper, but the problem was already there (maybe not as bad, but there). I also cannot check the timing (no degree wheel) and it is timed by ""sound"". Have any suggestions. Thought about replacing intake gaskets?
Can y`all check this carb? You have a ""carb. guy""?
What do you think?

Couldn`t fix my horn.
I can`t explain it in 2000 words. They wanted wanted to order a part that my truck didn`t need and charged me for labor and diagnostics. After waiting over a year for them to get the part calling them 2 or three times and never getting a return call I took it apart my self and found out that the mount that holds the switches and contact plate was out of adjustment and the reason they couldn`t get the part is because... view more the part doesn`t wear out. Beside that, that was the whole problem the contacts were not touching. See details at my blog on myspace. My handle is cactushinge. Google will point to my site after putting in cactushinge

Best auto repair shop
I took my vehicle to the dealer twice and they were not able to fix it. I heard about Cambridge Auto Center from listening to the owner`s radio show on KTSA 550. I took my car there and they were able to find the problem and fix it. I will never go back to the dealer again for auto repair.
