DONT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS REPAIR SHOP!!! Beware please! I was stranded on the road coming from San Antonio to Oklahoma " Engine overheated " Then I met Mr Shane the biggest Crook in Fort Worth! We talked about what might be wrong with my BMw he told me it was my radiator and that he would call me with an estimate of what was actually wrong. I said no problem, thanks for the help, I went and got a rent... view more a car and continued my trip to Oklahoma. " Had a meeting that next morning " Well after I got thru with my meeting I call Shane and he not in. The young guy who works at shop told me he would call me right back - never heard from either of them. Well the next day comes around and still no call. So I call Shane again about 4pm, he picks up the phone and tells me that he was about to go test drive my car? I said for what? what was wrong with it? How much did it cost? Shane specifically said " Oh I didn`t know you called, I just went ahead and did the work, oh and by the way you need to fix about 3 other things. I said hold up what is wrong with the car and what have you done to it and what are you charging me? Normally don`t they have to ask someones permission before they start working on a car??? Well this guy Shane said it was my Thermostat and charged me $120 for that - $69 for a radiator hose $ 50 for antifreeze lol 7.98 for oil housing ring and 23.80 for oil filter housing. So that $270 in parts then he charges $190 for install of the hose and to install the correct coolant, $285 for a oil filter housing reseal, and another $95 to set my motor codes back on my car. Parts $270 - labor $570 - taxes for a grand total of $1197. Wow what a scam!! I think that`s shanes MO is he does work on cars without asking permission and then racks the bill up so high you cant pay for it and he ends up keeping it and sells it at his lot across the street! Oh and get this we end up paying this bandit just to get the car off his lot and drive it a mile down the road and it breaks down again off Cherry st. So now I have to get hit towed all the way back to San Antonio! Shane your a bum! don`t ever take your car here Forth Worth!!!
