Deceptive Business Practice
Vehicle was stolden from Mall, it was listed as stolden with the police.
Upon notification from police that the vehicle was recovered and was being held by Bay Area Towing.
A family member was told by Bay Area Towing to bring a signed and notorized power of attorney affidavit form owner, copy of title and Insurance. which was done.
After driving 2 hours to pick up the vehicle with the requeste... view mored paper work, the tow company then provided a different affidavit to have notorized and acknowledged all paperwork was corrrect.
The town company then denied request to inspect the vehicle so that it could be determined if the vehicle would be operable or would be needing to be towed to a repair shop.
This was obviously an effort to delay the vehicle being picked up the next time so the tow company could and build additonal charges.
Another slap in the face after already having the vehicle stolden.
