I don`t know how this place is in business
I love my VW. It has been a great car, but my experience as whole at Boardwalk is enough to prevent me from buying another VW. My sales person was actually okay, even though that`s what I usually dread about buying a new car. My nightmare began in the finance department with Anthony Heverly and continued months and even now, two years later, in the maintanence department.

Boardwalk VW raises the benchmark on quality standards
Boardwalk VW definitely raises the benchmark on quality standards in the car buying process. I was able to not only apply for my loan online prior to visiting, but I was able to email, and instant message all for the information to get the deal set up. I would highly recommend this dealership
This is the second car that I have leased from this dealership. Both times I have received exceptional assistance. The personnel, from the sales consultant to the financial person, were extremely helpful. I felt like my requests were honored and carried through.

Our best experience with a VW Dealer
This is the 4th VW we have purchased since 2005 as a family. This is the first time that we have done business with this particular VW Dealer. To say that our experience was the Best, is an understatement. What is a true statement is this. We will be buying another VW and we will probably have no need of looking at any other of the area dealerships.

Dishonest, Misleading, Price Gouging, Service Dept
I needed a mirror housing for the passenger side mirror. I was told that it would cost $115 - $120. I was told that the part ""just snapped on"". After making arrangements to get the part from their parts dept and get them to paint it ( Why didn`t the Kenny Smith the service Advisor do that for me?) I showed up at my appointment time. I had already paid for the part so Kenny was going to get the price for labor. He... view more came back and said "" we`ll take care of it"" which I took as free since he did not state a price and had previously said "" it just snaps on"" After waiting an hour and a half in the waiting room.... I get a bill that includes $76 in labor. That is right $76 to ""snap it on"" Kenny replied they had to attach it with 2 screws. 2 SCREWS!! and he thinks that justifies $76? Oh by the way they also took the time to put it up on the rack and inspect it so they could give me a list of things I should have them do to the car. Yeah right!
It is not that it is a lot of money, I am glad it was not in for a major repair. I am just sick and tired of being over charged.
I told Kenny Smith I would not be back again. They do not know how to treat customers.

The WORST service!!!
We recently bought our 2nd VW from Boardwalk. Upon purchasing our new car, the agent wrote the contract with a higher sales price. He rushed us through and did not explain anything. We returned a few days later to get a new contract drawn. The agent was less than happy to help us. A few months after the purchase, the sunroof got stuck open. We took it in and they claimed to have fixed it. A month later, the radio wen... view moret out. Boardwalk assured us that we would get a new radio in a few days. We called for over a week. Nobody could give us status on the radio and nobody returned our calls. 2 weeks later, Boardwalk said they had the radio for a week, but returned it back to the manufacturer because WE did not call. A week later, the sunroof glass shattered while driving. We took the car in and they said it was not covered under our warranty (b/c they couldn`t prove we didn`t break it). 8 weeks later, they still cannot tell us if they ordered our radio. WE`RE NEVER RETURNING!

Watch Out!
Bad "dealership". They take multiple times to make repairs, like my windows, which were either stuck closed or open 7-8 times. They are not good to their word. Get EVERYTHING in writing. In summary, they do not support their customers. I would never buy from them again, and most likely will never buy another VW.
