Good Vehicle, Good Deal, Good Experience
I bought my 2002 4Runner from Mid-Tex earlier this week. Blake and Nacho were very helpful, letting me come back on several occasions prior to buying this 4Runner to drive different vehicles they had on the lot. In the past I have always bought used cars from individuals either found on Craigslist or Auto Trader. Rarely do I look at dealerships due to shady or just plain bad sales people. Blake was very straight f... view moreorward and overall just easy to deal with. He provided a full CarFax report and even took time to share some of the history of his business. Besides not having the locking lug key which is not their fault, the 4Runner has been perfect. When I asked about it Blake checked to see if he might have it. However it could not be located and he put me in contact with a guy at the local Toyota dealership to get a new one. Since I already had my financing lined up I was able to negotiate a very good out the door price. For the mileage and options on my 4Runner I paid around $1000 under NADA retail even with the tax and fees. If you are looking for a clean used car, truck, or SUV at a good price give Mid-Tex a look.

Steer clear! No pun intended....
Steer clear! No pun intended...
Purchased what appeared to be a good used vehicle here. Had to take it back for repairs within 2 weeks. They "fixed" it after having it for 3 days (they took a while to find the problem, and I actually wouldn`t drive it home after the first time the repairs were "done"...still had the same problem which they then needed additional time for!), and then would not ... view moreaccept any other payment besides cash ($100), which I thought was odd. When the car had problems less than a week after the initial repairs they performed, I brought it in to another shop. I was advised that whoever had recently worked on the car did a terrible job, and that I may have continuing issues with it as a result. Paid another $500 in repairs. Less than 2 weeks after that, it was having problems again. Brought it back to the reputable shop and paid another $150. Not only have the additional costs been a hassle, but so have numerous trips back and forth to the repair shop (and being without a car for days at a time!).
I learned my lesson. I should have had a reputable mechanic inspect the car before purchase, but unfortunately was very pressed for time as this purchase was part of an insurance claim. I was assured the vehicle was inspected, tuned up, and in great working shape. I was shown CarFax reports and mechanic reports. Not quite sure if I was being the truth in hindsight. I should have known by the questionable looking facilities.
I learned my lesson...and please learn from me! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

Fantastic Service and quality
We recently purchased a Toyota 4Runner and couldn`t be happier. The service was unbeatable. They worked with us, and they made it quick and easy. We ran into tons of scams and cars that just weren`t in good condition. It took us several weeks of searching for cars and trying to figure out where to go and what to do. Once we found this place, we were in and out in a day. It was wonderful.
