Good San Antonio Brake Repair Shop

Although Brake Works is a fairly small brake repair shop, they complete their work in a timely fashion. Being able to talk directly to the owner is also a plus. Thanks Brake works and I`ll be sure to spread the word.

Calipers?

I stopped in for a basic brake pad replacement. After a "test" drive I was told I would need over $400 worth of calipers, life time brakes, roters machined + labor..... I told them I would pass on the calipers now down to $169.00. I also told them I didn`t need lifetime brakes, another $30 removed. They didn`t offer to show me my car. I `helped` myself to an inspection. The left rotor could use machining ... view morebut the right was fine and the calipers had no issues. I told them "just pads, bleed/replace fluid, machine left roter".... THEY REFUSED---- they put the car back together and sent me on my way with my squeaky brakes.............. and a wasted 45 minutes. Apparently they were not willing to do ANY job that wouldn`t pay them enough.
