As a woman I am cautious to where I take my car, but the meineke on northwest highway made me feel right at home. I was explained to about what was wrong with my car in a very detailed manner, this shop has a great group of guys working there. Jay is very good at making the customer feel welcomed and for once i didn`t feel like I was being taken advantage of. I love this place and you will too!!!

Won`t ever take my car here again!!

I took my vehicle recently to this Meineke Car Care Center for front brake service. In hindsight, this was a big mistake. In my opinion, the repair job was performed poorly and I now have problems with my brakes and rotors that I didn`t have prior to bringing the car in for service. I have returned several times to try and get the problems resolved but they seem unable or unwilling to do it. I have been left with an expensive problem that I will have to pay more money out of my pocket to get fixed by someone else. In my opinion, I would stay away from this Meineke location. It`s not worth the time, trouble and expense it might lead to as it has with me

I will ALWAYS take my car here!

This is one of the best car care centers that we have ever taken our vehicles to. They have VERY knowledgable mechanics and fair pricing every single time. My wait time for an oil change is very short and when I have had work done on my van they have gone above and beyond the call of duty (cleaning the engine, etc.). The best word to describe the staff at this Meineke location is trustworthy. I know that what they t... view moreell me is true and dependable. They remember me and my vehicle and are peronsable, relatable and fun. Last time I went in it was a hot Texas summer day and one of the mechanics gave my kids ice pops. That was above and beyond the call of duty! They genuinely care about my family and my vehicle. As long as we live in Dallas, Texas we will always take our vehicles here!!

This is a great place! Very fair. The other post that gave it one star is mistaken...this place opened in January or February of 2010. I went for an oil change and my friend took her car in for brakes and she said they were nice too.

Don`t go here!

I called this Meineke to get an estimate for what it would cost to replace a brake caliper. They told me $175-225. I thought that was a good price, so I dropped my car off. The guy calls me and then tells me that it is going to cost $320. When I asked him about the price discrepancy, he said that he would not have given that quote because that is how much the part costs itself. Two days after we picked the car up, a rattling noise started coming from the same tire that they replaced the caliper on. Not wanting to trust them with my car again, I then took it to the nearby B&D auto shop, which I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to take their car in this area. They discovered that Meineke improperly replaced the caliper pin, and that is what caused the rattling. They fixed it for $50. When we tried to go to Meineke to recoup that money, we were told that they were not willing to pay for it. They would have fixed it for free if we had taken it back there is what he said. Unfortunately we did not trust them enough to take the car back there, nor would we ever go there again. Bottom line: don`t give this place your business!
