Stay far far away!!! They caused more damage to my sister`s car than they actually fixed! The whole ordeal took over a week and all the parts had to be delivered from a town approx. one hundred miles away and then the shipment was incomplete. The mechanic called the hotel to say they had fixed the problem but would take the car for a test drive just to be sure, they forgot to put coolent in the car and it over hea... view moreted again! Back to the original problem!!! Then they said they would fix it for $3500.00! BTW it was later fixed (by another shop) for $250.00 and the car is purring like a kitten!!!

Be very leery of this business...

Be very leery of this business, especially if you are from out of town. My car over heated on I-10 and we made our way to Rite-A-Way. The told me my heads were warped just by looking at my car. Tore my engine down, took the heads a town away, put my engine back together and it still over heated. We go through it again, they tear it down again, 8 days later they still have my car and it is still over heating so th... view moreey tell me I need a new engine for $3,500.00. I tell them no and have it towed to Phoenix, AZ. Mechanic here tells me they put the thermostat in wrong. Cost $250.00. And did I forget to mention the 600.00 tow and $4,000.00 in hotel bills and food and plane tickets for my parents to Ocala and me to AZ. I trusted these people and they tried to take me for a ride. This was supposed to be a trip across country for my parents to the Grand Canyon. I understand things happen but this was ridiculous!

It`s always nice when things g...

It`s always nice when things go smoothly in a business transaction but you can`t be sure what kind of person you are dealing with until trouble arises. This is true for both the business owner and the customer. It`s through our reaction to trouble and how we go about trying to resolve the situation that we get to glimpse each other`s true character. During the course of the work, some unfortunate issues-- beyond the control of either party-- arose which had the potential for lots of hard feelings. I was impressed with Raymond Newton`s professionalism in this situaton and now I highly recomend Rite A Way to my friends.
