they have done work all our cars in our household. appreciate them accepting third party parts when such parts are both cheaper and dependable. being a customer that has proper attitude and respectful is one reason i get further ahead in working with other businesses.

Very bad experience. will neve...

Very bad experience. will never recommend. Front desk lady is rude. For a simple question, response was very rude, after I got the major repair done with them. I will never ever go to them again. They started doing the major repair work without taking authorization. I ended up doing the work and paying huge amount. I cannot comment on quality of work as I have yet to observe that

Honest Customer

I went to pick up my car from Tidwell Automotive in Plano, TX and was verbally attacked by the mechanic/owner. I asked a simple question about a coupon and I told him that he did not have to be so rude. I almost called the Plano Police Department today. TERRIBLE

I swear this shop isn`t what it used to be. My family and i have several vehicles that we ALWAYS take into TAS. For years we`ve been loyal and haven`t taken any of our vehicles elsewhere. However, over time, they`ve gotten worse and worse. #1, the young lady at the front is usually very prompt in calling customers back. My last experience, she NEVER called me back. I had to harass her just for the simple fact I could... view moren`t get them to call me back. Came back that I had a pretty extensive repair, which was expected. So, I gave them the # to my warranty company to go ahead and file a warranty claim. Didn`t get a call back so I called my warranty company to check on the claim 2 days later. The company said they haven`t heard anything from any repair shop. I called back to Tidwell and she says, ""Oh I was just about to call them!"" 2 DAYS LATER. At this point they`ve had my car for a WEEK. Finally, the ball started rolling and I was given the repair estimate...3 WEEKS LATER. Now, again I completely understand repairs take a while, but them having my car for 5 weeks is ridiculous. I feel taken advantage of especially since we`ve done so much business with them and have given them THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars. They just aren`t what they used to be and i will never do business with Tidwell Auto Svc again....period

I am very impressed with this young lady`s knowledge.

The young lady up front was very courteous and not only notified me of what repairs were needed, but also just what those repairs entailed. As a woman who has always decided where to repair our vehicles, I am very impressed with this young lady`s knowledge. the bill was within reasonable cost

I have entrusted my auto health to Tidwell`s Auto Service for about 10 years and receive the same results each time. I was contacted before service was performed and explained what was needed and approximate cost of the full repair. Without fail, the bill was within reasonable cost to what was mentioned and results have always been acceptable.
