I was recommended to send in my engine module to this place because they have a quicker turn around then most ecm repair shops that take anywhere from a two to three weeks. I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima. The guy who answered the phone was very knowledgeable and said they could repair it within 2 - 3 days once they received it. They called me when they received the unit to ask me some more details about the problems I w... view moreas having. They followed through and i got my unit back within 2 days. I am very happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone.

I read the negative reviews and I was terrified. I shipped my ECM to Texas from Missouri and had no idea what I was doing or if I would ever get it back. The quote I received from our local mechanic was over $1000 more than it cost me to have it fixed by Auto ECM. I shipped it and within the next week I had it back in my car. I`ve waited a few months before posting this review just to be on the safe side, but I have ... view morenot had a single problem to date. I drive a 2005 Ford Escape and the ECM problem is a known issue with this model. They assured me at Auto ECM that they are familiar with this issue and would have no problem fixing it. And they came through as promised. I would recommend them to anyone.

SCAM?
I recently sent my ECM from California to have it repaired. After a few day, I contacted the business to find out the status of my ecm and they informed me that they were unable to repair it for some unknown reason. I then requested that they send it back and the person that I spoke to said, he would call me back to get my information in order to send it back. Well, I never received a call from them so, I called the... view morem back and the person this time told me that they were having problems with shippments and for me to call back the following day. already frustrated, I called them the following day and this time, I was told by this other person that I had to pay 70 bucks. I asked why? and he said that it was for all the testing they had done. I dont remember anything that was said to me about this or said on their website of this sudden fee. After arguing my case, I was pretty much said pay or you don`t get your ECM back. Today I was reviewing my bank account online and I noticed they charged me $90 buck!!! WTF as far as I know this business could be a scam how can one know for sure if someone isn`t just sending this ECM back to their owners and telling them they`re not repairable. Now I`m out about $110 bucks including shipping fees. I will inform my buddy that was thinking of doing business them. I advise anyone to find a local business instead of shipping out of state and do some research before choosing a business. I would never do business with this people ever again!

WORST EVER
I HAVE AN AUTO REPAIR SHOP IN THE DALLAS AREA. I HAVE HAD THIS COMPANY TRY TO REBUILD THREE ECM`S FOR ME. ALL THREE HAVE HAD TO BE TAKEN BACK TO THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO GET REBUILT AGAIN AND AGAIN. THEY NEVER COMPLETE THE WORK WHEN PROMISED; ALWAYS HAVE AN EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE.
