No complaints at all...
Took my Focus in to have some minor body damage done and have to say I was really impressed. Only area I could have complained is the estimate seemed kind of high for the amount of damage, but I wasn`t paying for it so didn`t matter to me.
Very surprised about all the negative reviews... everything turned out great for me. Got me into a nice rental car quickly and even gave me a little bottle of touch up paint whe... view moren I picked my car up.

Caliber Collision Cr
i used this shop relying on GEICO`s representative who recommended Caliber Collision, So Lamar, as a shop where I`d be guaranteed a good and timely repair. I had a garden variety rear fender ding- the estimate at the shop was a max of 5 days to repair. At that time there was only one car in the shop ahead of my own. I took the car in 25 December, didn`t get it back until 4 January. The delay, according to the sho... view morep, was because the shop had ordered a taillight for a year model which was NOT my own car`s. I was happy to have the original tailight installed (minimal scratching). I didn`t get that information until the afternoon of Jan 4th.
And then when I got home the trunk release was not operating. I cannot release the trunk from the indoor activator-- which was working just fine before the shop`s bodywork..
Wasn`t until then that I checked other reviews for this shop. After seeing that my experience was typical, I called GEICO recommending they attach their business to more competent bodyshops. I`m actually more concerned about the damage to GEICO`s rep, they have been a great company, than to Collision`s.

An inexperienced homeless guy would be a better choice!
I don`t even want to give this place one star my experience was so awful. At first, all pistons were firing (excuse the pun there), but very quickly thereafter it was the most miserable experience I could have imagined. Not only do they use sub-par parts to offset cost, which is a pet peve of mine especially on a new car, but they also created more damage to the car in the process of working on it, I had to keep goin... view moreg back to them to get it repaired after the fact. But at the end, it took three weeks to get the final detail work done because they choose to hire out irresponsible boobs who cannot even find their way to pick up a phone. In the end, it took me finally getting angry enough to want to bring a lawsuit against them for negligence for them to finally get someone not only responsible but really good at his job to finally come out to finish the job! (Thank you a thousand times Tony from Euro Stripes! A true godsend!) Lesson learned...and I hope that this will hopefully help someone else out there not to make the same mistake that I did.

Great at sucking
Caliber Collision is really good at taking your current car troubles and doubling, tripling, maybe even quadrupling them. They put on a fake smile and pretend they`re happy to see you when you come in, but as soon as you leave, they basically treat your vehicle like a heavyweight`s punching bag. Thanks to Caliber Collision, I now have to put my car right back in a reputable shop after it was in this joke of a shop ov... view moreer a week and supposedly fixed. I took it in needing body work and it came out needing engine work. Don`t bother calling with problems, they do the same thing, pretend they`re concerned and want to help, and then never call you back. Way to go Caliber, I don`t think you could possibly stink any more. Never ever take your car here, even though GEICO recommends them, you can say, ""No thanks, I`d like to take it to the dealership and get quality work done"". You`re paying the same deductible either way. Don`t trust this negligent company with your car. They are nothing but a joke.

NOT a Reputable Business! PLEASE DON`T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!
I had a terrible experience with Caliber Collision! I would NEVER take my car back nor would I recommend anybody take their car there! I have had two experiences at Caliber. The 1st time, I got the rear bumper on my 03 Honda Accord replaced, and the bumper is not flush with the rest of the vehicle. The 2nd time, I had work done on both driver?s side doors. As I left and was getting onto Mopac, I noticed my drive... view morer?s side mirror was shaking badly, something that was not happening before I took the vehicle in. In addition, the automatic feature on my mirror was working improperly; the range of motion was off ? the mirror would not move up or down all the way, but it was working properly when I took the car in. I took the car back and was told that they had not touched my mirror except to take it off while they were replacing my doors. The man then proceeded to pull my mirror off, telling me that it was an ?after-market? mirror that had been glued on. Hmm?odd, since I bought my car off the Honda dealership lot and it was not a used car. After telling me that Honda glued (not replaced properly) a non-Honda mirror on my car, he glued my mirror back on, but the range of motion is still off. I noticed the next day that the seal on the top of my back door was not tight, allowing water to enter the vehicle when washing it. I took my car back, and they fixed the seal. When I told them the mirror still wasn?t working properly, the Geico adjustor said that there was no way that Caliber would take responsibility for my mirror. I asked if it was at all possible that my mirror was accidentally broken while at Caliber and then replaced (glued on) with an after-market mirror. The adjustor rudely said no and said I was accusing him of being dishonest. I am extremely unhappy with my experience at Caliber. Caliber Collision shouldn?t guarantee their work if they are going to be rude when you go back and point out something that was done improperly to begin with.

Do not go!
I took my car here after an accident and was told that it would be ready in four days. I called the day it was supposed to be ready and they made me feel like I was hassling them. They told me that it would take a couple more days so I waited two days and when I didn`t hear from them by the end of that day I called to see if it was ready and again I got attitude and I was told that it would be ready the next week. Th... view moree same thing went on a few more times of them telling me a day and me not hearing from them. The end result was that my car took more than a week longer than they had promised it would take and they never once called me to tell me when it would be ready or when it actually was ready. I just had to keep calling them and the last time I called it just happened to be ready even though I specifically asked them to call me when I could pick it up because I was tired of calling them every time it was supposed to be ready. I also got attitude from the receptionist every time I called even though I didn`t complain once. When I finally did get to go pick my car up they had done a poor job fixing it. They took the front bumper apart and replaced the headlight but it no longer fits in place. It`s sticking out and even though I should go back and have it fixed properly I am too frustrated to deal with them anymore.

better off somewhere else
My car had front and rear damage along with rear side damage. I had taken pictures of my car right after the accident in case my insurance was going to need them since the accident happened out of town. My car was only 1 year old. When I went to pick up my car, I kept hearing a rattling noise that it wasn`t making before. When I went back, there was a screw loose and they told me it wasn`t needed. I took my car to a ... view morefriend and they said ""Of course you need it to hold your fender in place."" Went back and then they fixed it. But when I got my car back, I noticed the back window had a 2 inch scratch which wasn`t part of the accident. They proceeded to tell me that it was because of road hazards. I know my car and it wasn`t that. I looked closer at my car and notices scratches and dents that weren`t there before I left my car. The management proceded to let me know that my car came in like that. Not true. Poor management and no return calls were received from them. My car came back in worse condition than it was before the accident. They were able to fix the main parts but beware. I would NEVER take my car back and I won`t trust them to anyone. Overall, poor management and customer services, awful work, creates more damage to your car and not worth it.

Disappointing
They had to replace front and rear quarter panels and reskin both driver`s side doors. When I picked up the car the gascap was misaligned; fixed right then, but poor quality control. There were clearcoat drips that needed to be buffed too.
Both doors sounded hollow; I was told when I brought the car back that seam-sealant hadn`t been applied. Also the rear window glass was scratched after I picked up the car. ... view moreThey agreed to replace it because the car was obviously very new and in perfect shape, but I agree with a previous reviewer - get pictures of the whole car before handing it over to them!
They have been very reasonable about fixing their mistakes so far, without requiring any paperwork, but my car should never have been returned to me in the condition that it was. Good management after the fact, but very poor QC.

take pics of the whole car before
I went in for a simple front end repair and when returned the car had a huge 5"" spot with no paint on the front hood and a small quarter size spot with no paint on the back bumper.Since they just repaired the front end they fixed the hood, but they didnt take responsibility for the back bumper (they didnt fix anything in tha back at all, yet I got additional damage)

Did not get job right first or second time
I recently took my car in for a fairly simple body work, but when they returned it to me, the paint was rough to the touch and looked like they had simply used a handy spray can. I pointed this out to the Caliber staff and they took it back, but only fixed half of the poorly painted area. On the third try, the paint has reached an acceptable level, but it`s pretty poor that they tried to pass off shoddy workmanship... view more as finished.
